Creality Laser Rotary Roller: specs, compatibility and what it engraves
The Creality rotary roller adds a Y-axis rotation module to a laser engraver, for cups, cans and bottles from 5 to 120 mm across. Fit, setup and what to check.

The Creality laser rotary roller is an add-on for a laser engraver. A flat engraver moves its beam across a flat surface; this module turns a cylindrical object under the beam so a design can wrap around a cup, can or rolling pin. Creality lists it as compatible with the Falcon2 22W and the CR-Laser Falcon 10W.
What a rotary roller does
On a flat machine, the Y-axis moves the workpiece or the laser head back and forth. A rotary roller replaces that movement with rotation. The object sits on rollers, and as they turn, the laser engraves a line at a time around its circumference. This is the usual way to personalise drinkware or round handles.
Objects and diameters
Creality says the roller handles thermos cups, cans, rolling pins and similar objects, and that it also copes with irregular cylinders. It has seven adjustment positions ("gears") for diameters from 5 mm to 120 mm (about 0.2 to 4.7 inches). A lifting bracket supports the slender end of tapered items such as wine bottles and goblets, so they sit level while turning.
Material still matters. Laser engravers mark different materials in different ways, and coated or reflective surfaces often need test pieces first.
Setting it up
Creality describes the process as connecting the module, linking the engraver to a computer and using LaserGRBL or LightBurn. The listing includes one important step: before first use, the GRBL configuration has to be changed. Set GRBL parameter 101 to 60.375 in the console (the listing gives the exact command), press Enter, then restart the machine. That value tells the controller how many steps correspond to a unit of rotation, so skipping it would usually produce stretched or squashed designs.
Risers and height
The roller can be used together with risers, which raise the engraver to make room for taller objects. Creality notes that the risers are not included. If you plan to engrave larger drinkware, check whether your engraver's height setup leaves enough clearance.
Who it suits
It suits owners of the compatible Falcon2 22W or Falcon 10W who want to engrave tumblers, bottles and rounded gifts, and makers who make personalised items. It is of no use without a compatible laser engraver.
What to check before you buy
- Compatibility: Creality names the Falcon2 22W and CR-Laser Falcon 10W; check other machines against the manual.
- Object size: diameters from 5 mm to 120 mm are covered.
- Height: risers are not included, so consider the clearance for tall objects.
- Software: you will need LaserGRBL or LightBurn and the GRBL setting change described above.
- Materials: test the laser on each surface before a final piece.
- Laser handling: follow the engraver's manual on eye protection, ventilation and supervision.
The short version
- A rotary add-on for laser engravers that turns cylindrical objects.
- Seven diameter settings from 5 mm to 120 mm, plus a lifting bracket for tapered items.
- Listed as compatible with the Falcon2 22W and CR-Laser Falcon 10W.
- Needs a GRBL parameter change (parameter 101 set to 60.375) and a restart before use.
- Risers, which increase engraving height, are not included.
