The Creality Falcon2 Pro 22W is a desktop diode laser engraver and cutter supplied with its own enclosure. It engraves and cuts materials such as wood, acrylic and leather, and adds a built-in camera and an exhaust system. This page explains the headline specs and what to think about before choosing a laser machine.
What 22W means
The listing gives the output power as 22,000 mW, and the machine as a 22W laser. Optical power is a different figure from the electrical power the machine draws. For diode lasers, higher optical power generally means thicker cuts and faster engraving. Creality says it can cut through 15 mm wood and 10 mm dark opaque acrylic in a single pass, and cut at speeds above 500 mm/s. Those are the brand's rated figures; real results depend on material, density, focus and settings.
Class 1 enclosure
Creality describes the machine as a certified Class 1 laser product with a fire-resistant metal enclosure. Class 1 generally means the laser is safe under normal use because the beam is contained. The auto-stop function halts work when the enclosure is opened or the bottom drawer is removed. Follow the manual regardless, and never leave a laser running unattended.
Camera and software
A built-in HD camera lets you see the workpiece and place a design on it. Creality says it can scan drawings from a surface and extract patterns, and that batch engraving and cutting work when it is connected to LightBurn. Software options listed are Creality Falcon Design Space for Windows and macOS, the free LaserGRBL, and the paid LightBurn.
Exhaust and air assist
The enclosure works with an exhaust fan to filter and expel smoke and dust, and Creality says this reduces noise and removes the need for protective glasses during operation. Air assist blows a stream of air at the cut to clear debris and limit flaring. Burning materials still produce fumes, so plan where the exhaust goes and ventilate the room.
Size and support
The listed size is 21.7 x 19.3 x 10.2 inches. Creality says the unit comes pre-assembled and offers installation guidance, lifetime technical support, a 12-month warranty and 24-hour customer service.
Who it suits
It suits hobbyists, makers and small businesses that want an enclosed machine for signs, gifts and craft pieces, from beginners to experienced users. It is not intended for metals that a diode laser cannot cut.
What to check before you buy
- Materials: confirm that the woods, acrylics and leathers you plan to use are suitable for diode lasers.

- Software: decide which program you will use and check computer compatibility.
- Space and power: measure the desk and check the outlet.
