The Creality Honeycomb Working Table Set is an accessory for laser cutters and engravers, made for the Creality Falcon range. It gives the laser a perforated bed to cut over, so the beam and debris have somewhere to go instead of marking your workbench. The bed is 320 x 320 mm.

Why a honeycomb bed helps

When a laser cuts through a material, the beam continues below it, and smoke and heat collect underneath. A honeycomb bed holds the workpiece slightly above a base, with open cells that let air and smoke pass through. Creality says the 6 mm apertures help dissipate heat and exhaust smoke faster, which it says reduces yellowing on the work and gives cleaner carving and cutting.

It also reduces back-reflection and burn marks on the underside of the piece, because less of the material is in full contact with a surface. Creality describes the honeycomb as absorbing and deflecting the laser and debris and helping prevent overburn.

Construction

The honeycomb is made of galvanized iron connected with rivets, with supporting pillars in the middle for rigidity. The base is aluminium alloy. Creality describes the whole assembly as all metal, fireproof and rustproof, and says the honeycomb and aluminium plate together protect the desktop beneath.

Risers and height

The kit includes 12 heightened columns (risers). Each increases the engraving height by 50 mm, and they can be stacked, so the listing gives up to 150 mm of extra height. This is useful when you want to engrave thicker objects, or use a rotary roller, since the extended legs let the rotary attachment fit. Four non-slip pads keep the set from moving.

What's in the kit

  • 1 honeycomb laser bed (320 x 320 mm)
  • 1 metal base
  • 12 heightened columns
  • 4 non-slip pads

Who it suits

It is intended for owners of Creality Falcon laser cutters and engravers who want a cleaner cutting surface and the option of raising the work. It suits people cutting wood, acrylic and similar sheet materials. Always keep an eye on a laser while it works, and follow your machine's safety guidance, including eye protection.

What to check before you buy

  • Your machine: confirm your laser's working area and frame fit a 320 x 320 mm bed. The listing says it is for Creality Falcon machines.
  • Focus distance: adding risers changes the height of the work, so you will need to refocus.
  • Cleaning: cells can collect residue, so plan to clean them as the manual advises.
  • Small parts: small offcuts can fall through the cells, so consider how you will catch them.
  • Workbench space: check your table is large enough for the base.
  • Rotary use: if you plan to use a rotary roller, check how it positions with the risers.

The short version

  • A 320 x 320 mm steel honeycomb bed with an aluminium alloy base for Creality Falcon lasers.
  • 6 mm cells for heat and smoke flow, to help keep cuts cleaner.
  • 12 risers at 50 mm each, stackable up to 150 mm.
  • Four non-slip pads included.
  • Check fit with your machine and refocus after changing the height.
