The Blackview BL7000 is a rugged 5G smartphone running Android 15, built for work sites, outdoor trips and rough handling. It pairs a large 7500mAh battery and a 6.78-inch 120Hz screen with dust and water protection, so it is aimed at people whose phone has to keep working away from the office.

What the durability labels mean

Blackview lists IP68 and IP69K protection plus MIL-STD-810H. IP68 means dust-tight and protected against immersion in water; Blackview states up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. IP69K is a test for high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. MIL-STD-810H is a US military test standard covering conditions such as shock, vibration and temperature, and brands typically describe passing selected tests from it. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and a glove mode helps with touch input while wearing gloves. A built-in toolkit includes a compass and flashlight, and GPS supports navigation.

Display

The 6.78-inch screen is rated at 2460 x 1080 resolution and 120Hz. Blackview says the adaptive refresh rate adjusts to balance smoothness against power use, and describes in-cell touch technology for responsive control.

Processor, memory and storage

A MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip provides 5G. Blackview lists up to 24GB of RAM, of which 16GB is virtual RAM, together with 256GB of storage expandable to 2TB through a card. Virtual RAM borrows storage space to act as memory, and it typically helps less than physical RAM. Dual SIM, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, fingerprint and face unlock are listed.

Cameras

The camera set includes a 50MP main camera, a 20MP night-vision camera with ISOCELL 2.0 technology and a 32MP front camera. Blackview adds Doke AI editing tools, for example for removing objects from photos.

Battery and charging

The 7500mAh battery is large for a phone. Blackview quotes 12 hours of gaming or video playback and a 40% charge in 30 minutes with 33W fast charging. OTG reverse charging lets the phone power small devices such as earbuds. Real battery life varies with use and settings.

Software

The phone runs Android 15 with Blackview's Doke OS 4.1, which includes private space and sensitive-notification privacy features. Gemini 2.0 is also mentioned.

Network compatibility

The listing says this is a T-Mobile-compatible unlocked phone and states it is not for AT&T, Cricket Wireless, Verizon, Straight Talk or U.S. Cellular. This matters, so check it first.

Who it suits

It suits tradespeople, hikers, hunters and anyone hard on their phone. Rugged phones are typically thicker and heavier than standard ones.
