The Yeedi C12 Plus is a robot vacuum and mop that cleans on a schedule or on command from an app. It uses laser mapping to plan its route, a bagless dust bin and an anti-tangle brush. Here is what its specs mean and what to think about for your home.
What 8000Pa suction means
Pascals (Pa) measure suction pressure, and robot vacuums are often compared by this number. Yeedi rates the C12 Plus at 8000Pa and says a new high-speed motor and a straight-through airflow path reduce suction loss. The brand says this helps on carpet and with large debris. Actual results depend on the floor type, brush design and how full the bin is, so treat the figure as a spec rather than a promise.
PureCyclone and the bagless bin
Yeedi says PureCyclone technology gathers dust in about 10 seconds and uses 14 small cyclones with a 4-layer filter system to separate fine dust down to 2 mm. The bin is reusable, so there are no disposable bags to buy. The "7-week dust storage" in the product name refers to the capacity Yeedi describes, and how often you empty it will depend on your home and pets.
ZeroTangle brush
Hair wraps around the brush of many robot vacuums. Yeedi describes dual comb-tooth arrays and an anti-tangle roller with angled bristles, and quotes a tangling rate as low as 0%. This is a brand figure; long hair and pet fur in particular typically still need occasional brush checks and cleaning.
TrueMapping navigation
The C12 Plus scans the room with a laser. Yeedi says the first map takes about 8 minutes, with close-range accuracy of within 10 mm. It then cleans in a bow-shaped, back-and-forth pattern, which is designed to cover the floor without gaps. The app lets you edit the map and create customised cleaning modes.
Sensors, climbing and battery
- Obstacle crossing: it climbs thresholds of about 20 mm.
- Drop protection: four down-facing sensors help stop it falling down stairs.
- Carpet recognition: it detects carpet and adjusts.
- Battery: a 5200mAh battery, which Yeedi says supports up to 300 minutes on a single charge.
App control and mopping
The app offers four suction levels, water volume settings and dual cleaning modes. Note that Yeedi states it supports only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, not 5GHz, so check your router before setup. Many routers broadcast both bands.
Size
The listing gives dimensions of 14.1 x 17.8 x 15.0 inches (about 36 x 45 x 38 cm), which includes packaging or the full unit as listed; check the manual for the robot's own height if you need it to pass under furniture.
Who it suits
It suits busy households, pet owners and people with mixed hard floors and low-pile carpet who want routine cleaning to run without effort. It does not replace occasional manual vacuuming of corners, stairs and upholstery.
What to check before you buy
- Wi-Fi band: confirm 2.4GHz is available.
- Furniture clearance: measure the gap under sofas and beds against the robot's height.
- Thresholds and cables: loose cables and rugs with fringes can trap any robot.
- Mopping: check the manual on which floors and carpets suit the water function.
- Upkeep: plan for emptying the bin and cleaning the brush and filters.
