The Roborock Qrevo Plus is a robot vacuum and mop that comes with a multifunction dock. The robot cleans floors on a schedule or on demand, and the dock empties its dust bin, washes the mops and refills water, so routine cleaning needs little hands-on attention. Here is what the main features mean and what to consider for your home.

The 6-in-1 dock

Roborock says the dock handles automatic mop washing, along with dynamic speed and water-flow adjustment. A 2.7L dust bag collects debris emptied from the robot, which Roborock rates at up to seven weeks of hands-free cleaning, and a 4L clean-water tank is rated to cover 3,552 sq ft. The dock base is removable for cleaning, and the robot quick-charges on the dock. The dock is a large unit, listed at 13.4 x 19.2 x 20.5 inches including the robot, and weighs 25.6 lb, so it needs a permanent spot near an outlet.

Suction and brush

The listed suction is 7,000 Pa, which Roborock says is 27% more than the previous model. Pascals measure suction pressure; higher numbers generally suggest stronger pickup on carpet and in crevices, though real results also depend on the brush, the seal and the floor. Roborock says the main brush speed is 10% higher and that its all-rubber spiral brush resists tangling, which it presents as helpful for pet and long hair.

Mopping and the FlexiArm

Two spinning mops rotate at 200 RPM, with 30 water-flow levels set in the app. The mop module lifts 10 mm, so carpets stay dry and thresholds are easier to cross. The FlexiArm design extends to clean along edges, table legs, walls and narrow gaps. Roborock quotes 98.8% edge coverage at a 1.85 mm proximity, which is its own measurement.

Carpet care

In Carpet First mode, the robot vacuums identified carpets before it wets the mop. Roborock says it sweeps carpets twice and uses ultrasonic sensors to raise suction when it detects carpet. In general, mopping robots work best when carpet areas are mapped in the app, so the mops lift when needed.

Reactive Tech obstacle avoidance uses structured light to detect objects with what Roborock calls millimetre-level precision, aiming to prevent collisions and jams in cluttered rooms. Small items such as cables and socks are common trouble for any robot, so a quick tidy before a run is typically worthwhile.

App and voice control

The Roborock App supports mapping, 3D maps, multi-floor maps, schedules, cleaning intensity, custom routes and on-demand cleaning. The robot works with Alexa, Apple Siri and Google Home for voice commands.

Who it suits

It suits households that want to automate vacuuming and mopping, especially homes with mixed hard floors and carpet, or with pets. Because of the dock's footprint and the robot's size, check clearance under furniture.

What to check before you buy

  • Dock space: find a spot with room around the dock and a nearby outlet.
  • Floors: decide how your carpets, rugs and thresholds will interact with the 10 mm mop lift.
  • Clearance: measure under low furniture against the robot's height.
  • Upkeep: plan to replace the dust bag, wash or replace mops and clean brushes and filters as the manual describes.
  • Water: the dock needs clean water refilled and dirty water emptied from time to time.
  • Wi-Fi and voice setup: confirm your phone and assistant are compatible.

The short version
