The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is a robot vacuum and mop that uses a roller mop instead of the spinning pads many robots use. It comes with a dock that empties the dustbin, refills the water tank and washes the mop. It is designed for homes with a mix of hard floors and carpet that want a mostly hands-off routine.
A roller mop that cleans as it works
Roborock calls its mop system SpiraFlow. Eight hydration points spread clean water along the roller, while a built-in scraper refreshes the mop in real time, which the brand says helps prevent streaks. The roller presses with 15N of force and turns at 220RPM. The edge-adaptive design is intended to reach corners, chair legs and edges. In general, a roller that is constantly rinsed and scraped should leave less dirty water on the floor than a mop that only gets washed back at the dock.
Suction and hair
The listing gives 20,000 Pa of suction for dust, crumbs and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. Pascals measure suction pressure, so a higher number typically means a stronger pull. For hair, Roborock lists a Dual Zero-Tangle System with dual short rollers and a long-bristle side brush, with a 0% entanglement rate certified by SGS.
Reacting to different messes
Sensors identify the type of mess and adjust cleaning as it goes. Roborock says the robot boosts suction for dust and debris, but switches to mop-only mode for liquid spills such as coffee or cola, lifting the brushes so dirt is not spread around.
Carpets
With Smart Carpet Strategy, one tap selects a carpet mode. The robot raises suction and lifts the mop up to 15 mm. A Roller Shield deploys at the same time to help separate dry and wet zones.
Navigation
PreciSense LiDAR builds real-time 3D layouts and the robot stores up to 4 floor plans, which suits a multi-level home. Structured light sensors and AI help it identify over 200 object types, day or night, so it can steer around cables, toys and furniture legs.
The dock
The dock empties the dustbin, refills the water tanks automatically and has a detachable base for easier upkeep. The mop is washed with 167°F water and dried with 131°F hot air, and smart dirt detection can trigger re-washing and re-mopping.
App and voice
SmartPlan 3.0 adapts to rooms and routines through the Roborock app. You can schedule cleanings, set no-go zones and use Smart Return-to-Wash. The robot responds to "Hello Rocky" voice commands or compatible smart assistants. The listing notes it supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only.
Who it suits
It suits households with pets or long hair, homes with both carpet and hard floors, and anyone who wants the mop to rinse itself while it works.
What to check before you buy
- Wi-Fi: only 2.4GHz networks are supported.
- Space: the listing gives 17.7 x 17.7 x 17.7 in and 31.6 lb for the package, so plan a spot near an outlet with room around the dock.
- Carpets and rugs: the mop lifts up to 15 mm, so check it against the pile height of your rugs.
- Furniture: measure the clearance beneath low sofas and beds.
- Upkeep: check the manual for water tanks, filters, dust bags and the roller.
- Clutter: pick up loose cables and small items before a run.
