The Lefant M330 Pro is a robot vacuum that also mops. It maps your home with a laser-based navigation system, plans its routes and can be controlled from a phone app or by voice. Lefant also stresses its slim 95 mm body and its anti-tangle suction port for homes with pets.
How dToF navigation and mapping work
The M330 Pro uses dToF (direct time-of-flight) navigation. A sensor sends out light pulses and times how long they take to return, which lets the robot measure distances. Lefant says it scans up to 15 metres, builds a map and plans a route that cuts repeated passes and missed spots. A saved map lets you do things in the app, such as setting no-go zones, and Lefant lists multi-floor mapping as a feature.
Obstacle avoidance
Lefant says its upgraded 190° PSD (Position Sensitive Device) sensor detects furniture, cords and small objects with millimetre precision, and that it works in the dark. In general, sensors like this help a robot avoid bumping into things, but no system sees every object, so it is wise to clear loose cables and small items before a run.
Vacuuming, mopping and carpets
The robot has a 200 ml refillable water tank and a washable mop pad. Lefant says carpet detection lets the robot avoid carpets when mopping, so they stay dry, and boost suction automatically when vacuuming. Lefant advises emptying the water tank after mopping to prevent leaks and floor stains.
Pet hair and the dustbin
Lefant says the suction port has an anti-tangle design to reduce hair wrap. The 450 ml dustbin is visible, so you can see when it needs emptying. A bigger bin typically means fewer trips to the bin on a big cleaning run.
Slim body and run time
The body is 95 mm tall, and the robot measures 13.0 x 4.3 x 14.0 inches as listed. Lefant says the low profile lets it reach under furniture that taller robots may not clear. Check the clearance beneath your own sofa and beds. Lefant lists a runtime of up to 150 minutes, which depends on the cleaning mode and the floor type.
App and voice control
Through the Lefant app you can set no-go zones, schedule cleanings and choose between Quiet, Standard and Max modes. The robot works with Google Assistant and Alexa. It uses dual-band Wi-Fi, but the listing specifies a 2.4 GHz connection, so check your router setup. Lefant lists a one-year warranty and customer support on weekdays.
Who it suits
It suits households with a mix of hard floors and carpets, pets and tight spaces under furniture, who want scheduled cleaning from an app.
What to check before you buy
- Furniture clearance: measure the gap under furniture against the 95 mm height.
- Wi-Fi: confirm your network supports 2.4 GHz.
- Floors: think about thick carpets, thresholds and rugs with fringes.
- Mopping: read the manual on which floor types suit the mop pad.
- Upkeep: plan to empty the bin, wash the pad and clean the brush and sensors.
- Tidying: clear cords, socks and small items before each run.
