The Lefant M210 Pro is a slim, quiet robot vacuum for hard floors and low carpets. It cleans on its own, returns to its charging base and can be run from an app or a voice assistant. Lefant lists increased suction, longer battery life, quieter operation, faster recharging and a carpet boost function over the earlier model.

Suction and brushes

Lefant says the M210 Pro has three adjustable suction levels and dual side brushes. The side brushes sweep dust and crumbs from edges and corners toward the suction port. It is designed for hardwood and low-pile carpet, and is described as suitable for pet hair.

Carpet boost

Carpet boost recognises when the vacuum moves onto carpet and raises suction to its maximum. That helps on rugs, as low-pile fibres hold more dirt than hard floors. It will still do better on short pile than on thick shag.

Sensors and getting unstuck

The brand says whole-body detection uses 13 pairs of infrared sensors to steer around furniture and walls and to avoid drops. FreeMove Tech 3.0 helps it free itself if it gets stuck. Infrared sensing generally works well on regular obstacles, but loose cables, socks and pet mess can still cause trouble, so tidy the floor first.

Size

The vacuum is 11 inches in diameter and 2.99 inches tall. This lets it fit under many low pieces of furniture and into narrow gaps. Check your clearances before counting on it.

Six modes and the app

Through the Lefant app you can set schedules, pick from six modes (zigzag, random, spot, edge, scheduled and manual control), adjust suction and monitor cleaning. Connection uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and Lefant lists Google Home and Alexa support. It works with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only.

Battery and coverage

On first use, switch on the blue button inside the unit and charge it fully. Lefant states up to 120 minutes of continuous cleaning, covering up to 1,300 sq ft in quiet mode. The vacuum goes back to its base when finished or when the battery runs low. Higher suction and carpet use shorten run time.

Who it suits

It suits apartments and small to mid-sized homes with mainly hard floors and low rugs, and households that want regular, scheduled light cleaning and help with pet hair.

What to check before you buy

  • Floor types: check you don't have deep-pile carpet or surfaces the manual warns about.
  • Wi-Fi: your router must offer 2.4 GHz.
  • Furniture clearance: the vacuum is just under 3 inches tall.
  • Floor prep: clear cables and small objects.
  • Upkeep: you'll empty the bin and clean brushes and filters, as the manual describes.
  • Mapping: the listing describes sensors, not a mapped floor plan.
