The eufy RoboVac 15C is a slim robot vacuum that cleans on its own and returns to its base to recharge. It is built for hard floors and low to medium carpet, and it adds Wi-Fi to the RoboVac line. The unit described here is sold as renewed, meaning it has been inspected and tested before resale.
Slim body, 1300Pa suction
eufy says the 15C is the slimmest RoboVac so far, at 2.8 inches (about 7 cm) tall. The body is 12.8 x 12.8 inches (about 32.5 cm) and weighs 5.7 lb (about 2.6 kg). A low height matters because it lets the robot slide under many sofas, beds and cabinets where dust collects.
Suction is rated at 1300Pa. Pascals measure suction pressure, and a higher figure usually means more pull on dirt, though brush design and the seal around the intake also decide how well it cleans. eufy describes the 15C as suited to hard floors and medium-pile carpets.
What BoostIQ does
BoostIQ is eufy's name for automatic suction boosting. The robot increases suction within about 1.5 seconds when it meets a spot that needs more power, such as a patch of carpet or crumbs. This usually saves running at full power all the time, which can also help battery life and noise.
Battery and running time
A lithium-ion battery is rated for up to 100 minutes of continuous suction. Actual time depends on floor type and how often it boosts. When the charge runs low, the robot goes back to its charging base and recharges by itself.
Sensors and protection
Infrared sensors help it spot and avoid obstacles, and drop-sensing technology is meant to stop it driving off stairs or ledges. The top is anti-scratch tempered glass. Robot vacuums of this kind typically work best when cables, socks and small toys are cleared off the floor first.
Wi-Fi and the remote
The 15C connects to Wi-Fi, so it can be controlled through eufy's app, and a remote control is included, with two AAA batteries.
What's in the box
According to eufy, you get the RoboVac 15C, remote control, charging base, AC power adapter, cleaning tool, an extra set of filters, four side brushes, five cable ties and a welcome guide. Because this is a renewed unit, it's wise to confirm the contents and the warranty terms that come with it.
Who it suits
It suits apartments and homes with mostly hard floors or low carpet, and people who want everyday dust and crumbs handled without pushing a vacuum. Larger homes, thick rugs or pets that shed a lot may need more frequent emptying and filter care.
What to check before you buy
- Clearance: measure the gap under furniture against the 2.8-inch height.
- Flooring: check that your carpets are low to medium pile.
- Wi-Fi: confirm your network works with the app, as described in the manual.
- Upkeep: plan on emptying the bin, cleaning filters and replacing brushes over time.
