The ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 Omni (model OZMOT20M) is a robot vacuum and mop paired with a station that empties the dust bin, washes the mops with hot water and dries them. It aims to cut down the routine jobs that come with a robot mop.
Hot-water mop washing and drying
ECOVACS says the T20 Omni washes its mops with 131°F (55°C) hot water to dissolve oil and dirt, then dries them with hot air. Drying after use matters because damp mop pads left in a dock can develop odours. The brand describes it as the first robot vacuum and mop with hot-water washing.
Dual spinning mops and carpet lifting
The OZMO Turbo 2.0 system has two spinning mops. ECOVACS lists a 25,000 RPM motor, constant 6N pressure and 180 rotations per minute, and says it imitates hand-scrubbing and cleans right to the edge. When the robot detects a carpet it raises the mop plates up to 9mm, so rugs stay dry. A 9mm lift suits low-pile rugs best; deep carpets may need a no-mop zone set in the app.
Suction and pet hair
Suction is rated at 6000Pa. Pascals measure suction pressure, and higher figures typically mean more pull, though brush and airflow design also matter. An upgraded tangle-free rubber brush is meant to reduce hair wrapping. The station empties the robot automatically and holds dust for up to 75 days, according to ECOVACS.
Navigation and obstacle avoidance
PreciSense LiDAR navigation with TrueMapping 2.0 builds 3D maps, including multiple maps for multi-level homes. You can divide rooms, draw virtual walls, set no-go zones and make schedules. TrueDetect 3D 3.0 uses structured light and 3D imaging to spot hazards such as small toys and wires, and ECOVACS says it works in the dark too. It is still sensible to pick up charging cables before a run.
Voice control
The built-in YIKO voice assistant means ECOVACS says it needs no connection to other smart-home systems. The listing notes that only 2.4G Wi-Fi is supported, so check your router.
What's in the box
The listing includes the robot, Omni station, one set of mopping pads, one auto-seal dust bag, one set of side brushes, a cleaning brush, a multi-function cleaning tool and the user manual, with a 12-month warranty from the brand.
Who it suits
It suits homes with mostly hard floors and some rugs, and people who want mopping and dust emptying handled by a dock. The station is large: the listing gives about 19.1 x 25.0 x 21.0 inches and 51 lb, so it needs a dedicated space.
What to check before you buy
- Wi-Fi: confirm your router offers a 2.4G band.
- Dock space: find a level spot near an outlet with clearance around it.
- Carpets: check that 9mm lifting suits your rugs.
- Floors: confirm that wet mopping is suitable for your floor type.
- Replacement parts: dust bags, pads, brushes and filters wear out over time.
- Warranty: check the terms with the seller.
