The VEVOR SP-C6 is a six-piece set of aluminium box levels, from a short 10 inches up to 78 inches. Every level in the set is magnetic and has vials for horizontal, vertical and 45-degree checks. One set covers everything from fitting a shelf bracket to checking a door frame or a long wall.

Why the set has six lengths

The right level length depends on the job. A short level fits in tight spots between studs or on pipe. A longer one spans more surface, which tends to average out small bumps and give a more trustworthy reading across a wall, a beam or a row of tiles. VEVOR supplies lengths of 10, 16, 24, 32, 48 and 78 inches (about 25, 41, 61, 81, 122 and 198 cm). The longest is full door-frame height.

Three vials, three measurements

Each level has three impact-resistant acrylic vials set in acrylic glass. They show horizontal (level), vertical (plumb) and 45-degree angles. VEVOR says the bubbles are anti-static for easy reading. The brand also describes the level as light-up, with scales in both SAE (inches) and metric.

A bubble level works by centring a bubble between two lines. The accuracy of the tool depends on how well the vials are set, and you can check any level by reading it, flipping it end for end on the same surface and reading again. The two readings should agree.

What the magnets are for

VEVOR says the whole set is magnetic. A magnetic edge lets the level cling to steel studs, pipes, conduit, beams and metal door frames, freeing both hands for fastening or adjusting. It does not work on wood, drywall or aluminium unless there is steel behind it.

Build and storage

The aluminium body has 8% thicker walls, according to VEVOR, and a double-sided milled base. The brand says this resists deformation, wear and corrosion. A dust-sealed storage bag keeps the set together and is easy to carry or keep in a vehicle. The set weighs about 12 lb in total.

Who it suits

It suits carpenters, tilers, framers, plumbers, electricians and home renovators who want the right length for each task. For a single occasional job, one or two lengths may be enough.

What to check before you buy

  • Lengths: confirm the sizes you use most are in the set.
  • Magnetic surfaces: the magnets help only on steel.
  • Accuracy: test each level by the flip method before using it for critical work.
  • Transport: the longest level at 78 inches needs space in a vehicle.
  • Care: wipe off dust and moisture, and avoid dropping it on the vials.

The short version

  • Six aluminium levels: 10, 16, 24, 32, 48 and 78 inches.
  • All magnetic, with 45°, horizontal and vertical vials.
  • Scales in SAE and metric.
  • Thicker aluminium walls and impact-resistant acrylic vials.
  • Dust-sealed storage bag included.
