The VEVOR JY-ZDS10L is a 10 L (2.5 gal) pressure pot for spray painting. Instead of a small cup on the spray gun, paint sits in a sealed tank and is pushed through a hose to the gun, so you can work longer without refilling. It needs your own air compressor.
How a pressure pot works
Compressed air pressurizes the sealed tank, which pushes paint up a suction hose, through the fluid outlet and along a hose to the gun. A pressure pot typically gives a steadier flow than a gravity cup and lets the gun be lighter in the hand, since the paint isn't sitting on it. It suits larger jobs such as fences, exteriors, boats, furniture runs and home decor projects, which are the uses VEVOR names.
Automatic stirring
A pneumatic motor, driven by air, stirs the paint continuously. VEVOR says this keeps paint evenly mixed and stops it thickening or settling, so you don't stop to stir by hand. Air-driven stirring is common in this type of tank because it avoids electric parts near solvent vapours. The suction hose includes a filter to catch impurities that could clog the gun and hose.
Capacity and connections
The tank holds 10 L. The inlet and outlet for air are 1/4 inch, and the fluid outlet is 3/8 inch. Check that these match the fittings on your compressor and gun. The unit weighs about 35.5 lb (16 kg) empty, and four caster wheels make it easier to move around a workspace.
Pressure control
Working pressure is adjustable up to 70 psi with a knob, and a gauge shows the pressure as you go. A safety valve is listed as releasing pressure automatically above 0.5 MPa. Lower pressure generally gives a gentler flow for thin coatings; thicker paints often need more. Never exceed the stated limit, and follow the manual when depressurizing the tank.
Spray gun and paints
The kit includes a 1.5 mm spray gun and two 3 m hoses. VEVOR says it handles latex, varnish, metallic and multicolour paints. One caveat from the listing: spraying latex paint requires a gun with a 4 mm or larger nozzle, so the included 1.5 mm gun is not enough for it.
Build and sealing
The tank has an inner lining and outer layer made of high-pressure, impact-resistant steel. The lid has a rubber sealing ring and four locks, and leak repair sealant is included. VEVOR says each unit is water-tightness tested before leaving the factory.
Who it suits
It suits DIYers and tradespeople doing large painting jobs who already own a suitable air compressor and want uninterrupted spraying.
What to check before you buy
- Compressor: the pot needs your own compressor; check its output and pressure against the tank's 70 psi.
- Paint type: confirm the gun nozzle size suits your paint, especially for latex.
- Fittings: match the 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch connections to your hoses.
- Cleaning: a larger tank takes more solvent or water to clean; follow the paint maker's guidance.
- Space and weight: allow for the 15 x 15 x 22.4 inch footprint.
- Safety: follow the manual and local rules for pressurized equipment, ventilation and protective gear.
The short version

- Adjustable pressure up to 70 psi with a gauge and a safety valve.
- Includes a 1.5 mm spray gun, two 3 m hoses and four caster wheels.
- Needs your own air compressor; latex needs a 4 mm or larger nozzle.
