The VEVOR JS-FB13F-T is an electric HVLP paint sprayer for interior and exterior jobs such as walls, wood and fences. It separates the motor from the spray gun with an air hose, so the part you hold stays light while the 1300W unit sits on the floor.
What HVLP means
HVLP stands for high volume, low pressure. Instead of forcing paint through a tiny opening at high pressure, an HVLP system uses a large flow of air at lower pressure to break the paint into a fine mist. Generally, this produces less overspray and bounce-back than airless sprayers. VEVOR says the 1300W drive creates higher pressure and airflow volume for faster work.
Five nozzles for different paints
The kit includes five copper nozzles: 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.8 mm, 2.6 mm and 3.0 mm. As a rule, smaller nozzles suit thin liquids such as stains and lacquers, and larger ones suit thicker products such as latex wall paint. VEVOR lists wall paints, wood paints and latex paints as suitable. Thicker paints often need thinning, so check the paint maker's guidance and the sprayer manual.
Containers
Two plastic containers come with it, 1300 ml and 800 ml, with marked scales to measure paint. A larger container means fewer refills across a wall; a smaller one is lighter and easier for detail work.
Hose, cord and handling
The sprayer has a 6 m hose and a 6 m power cord, which VEVOR says lets you cover large areas without moving the unit constantly. The brand describes the strap and gun as lightweight. The whole package weighs about 15.4 lb (7 kg).
Motor cooling
VEVOR says the intake and exhaust ports are completely separated so hot air cannot recirculate, improving cooling and helping the sprayer keep running through long jobs. Even so, follow the manual on duty cycles and rest periods.
Where it fits
This kind of sprayer makes sense for:
- Interior walls and ceilings
- Exterior walls and fences
- Wood furniture and trim
Spraying is faster than brushing on big flat areas, but it takes masking and prep, since fine mist travels. Practise on cardboard first to set the pattern and flow.
Who it suits
It suits homeowners and DIYers with large surfaces to cover, and anyone moving up from rollers who is happy to spend time on masking and cleaning.
What to check before you buy
- Paint type: confirm your paint is suitable and whether it needs thinning.
- Cleaning: spray guns need thorough cleaning after each use; check how the parts come apart.
- Prep: allow time for masking floors, windows and trim.
- Reach: 6 m of hose plus 6 m of cord, so check against your room or fence length.
- Ventilation and protection: use ventilation and the protective gear the manual recommends.
- Power: check your outlet and the capacity of any extension cord.
