The VEVOR ZN2505D-42L is an 11-gallon wet/dry vacuum for jobsites, workshops and garages. It picks up both dry debris and liquids, and its one-button filter cleaning is designed to keep suction up during long jobs without stopping to knock out the filter.
What 5.5 peak HP and 1350W mean
VEVOR lists the motor as 5.5 peak horsepower with 1,350W of input power. Peak horsepower is a figure often measured under conditions that a vacuum doesn't sustain in use, so it is better for comparing within a brand than between brands. The 1,350W figure is the electrical input, and it tells you what the vacuum draws from a household circuit. For real suction, airflow and sealed lift matter as well, and the listing doesn't give those.
Capacity and size
The tank holds 11 gallons (about 42 litres). The vacuum measures roughly 19.5 x 12.4 x 22.8 inches and weighs 19.1 lb. It comes with a 1.25-inch x 7 ft hose and a 20 ft power cord. A wider hose generally moves larger debris more easily, and a longer cord and hose reduce how often you must move the unit.
Wet and dry pick-up
VEVOR says it picks up dirt, leaves and debris as well as liquids such as milk and coffee grounds. Wet/dry vacuums run differently for dry and wet work:
- Dry: a cylindrical filter traps fine dust. VEVOR says it catches micron-level dirt for everyday wet-dry use.
- Wet: an expanding sponge filter is listed for flood clean-up, to catch sediment, wood chips and branches.
Fitting the right filter for the task is normal practice, and the manual describes when to swap them.
One-button self-cleaning
The self-cleaning filter lets you shake debris from the filter with one touch, which VEVOR says restores suction and cuts how often the filter needs washing. The listing notes you must block the air outlet before activating the function.
Attachments
Three attachments are included: a wet-dry nozzle, a sofa nozzle and a long flat nozzle. VEVOR positions them for car trunks, seats, vents, cup holders and door compartments.
Who it suits
It suits workshops, small construction jobs, car cleaning and anyone who wants a larger tank for fewer trips to the bin. The 19.1 lb weight and a portable design make it easy enough to move between rooms.
What to check before you buy
- Storage space: check the footprint and height for where you'll keep it.
- Power: it draws 1,350W, so avoid sharing a circuit with other heavy tools.
- Hose reach: confirm the 7 ft hose and 20 ft cord fit your usual jobs.
- Filters: check which filter belongs with wet and dry work, and what replacements are available.
- Fine dust: for drywall or similar dust, check what the manual says about suitable filtration.
