The Sundpey RMWRH001 is a 21V cordless impact wrench with a 1/2-inch square drive, sold as a kit with two batteries, a charger, sockets and a carrying case. It targets wheel nuts, car repairs, equipment maintenance and light construction. This page covers what the specs mean and what to check.

Torque and speed

Sundpey rates the wrench at a maximum of 600 ft-lbs (800 N·m) of torque, with a top speed of 2600 rpm. Torque is turning force, and the maximum figure refers to loosening a seized fastener. It is typically a peak under test conditions, so tightening force will be lower. For critical fasteners like wheel nuts, a torque wrench is normally used for the final tightening, as your vehicle's manual describes.

Brushless motor and LED lights

The tool has a brushless motor, which Sundpey says is stable and efficient with a long service life. Brushless designs generally have no carbon brushes to wear and tend to waste less energy as heat. Two LED work lights illuminate the bolt in tight or dark spaces, such as around a wheel arch.

Speed settings and direction

A switch selects forward or reverse, for tightening or loosening. In forward mode, there are three speed levels: slow, medium and fast. In reverse, the driver runs continuously. Sundpey also describes a reverse self-stop mode, enabled with an RSS button: once the nut or bolt comes loose, the tool reduces speed and torque, to stop the fastener from flying off its position.

Batteries and protection

The kit comes with two 4.0Ah (4000mAh) lithium-ion batteries and a charger, so one battery can charge while the other works. A power indicator light shows the remaining charge. Sundpey lists three protection thresholds: 50A for the motor, 60A for the battery, and 40A for continuous battery discharge. If the tool stops under a long heavy load, Sundpey says this is overload protection and advises removing the battery and letting both rest before reinstalling. It also suggests fully charging the batteries on arrival, and storing them in a ventilated area with the switch locked.

Weight and handling

The tool with battery weighs 4.81 lb, and Sundpey says it can be used one-handed. The grip is ergonomic with non-slip rubber. The full case weighs 9.48 lb and measures 13.39 x 10.04 x 4.13 inches (about 34 x 25.5 x 10.5 cm).

What's in the kit

The listing includes the impact wrench, two 4000mAh batteries, a charger, six sockets (12, 14, 17, 19 and 21 mm at 78 mm length, and 22 mm at 60 mm), an instruction manual and a tool case. Sundpey also mentions customer support available around the clock.

Who it suits

It suits home mechanics, DIY users and those doing small to medium projects who need a portable alternative to an air-powered tool: wheel changes, repairs and assembly work.

What to check before you buy

  • Socket sizes: compare the six sockets with the fasteners you work on; impact-rated sockets are generally advised.
  • Battery platform: the batteries belong to this tool, so check whether they can be used elsewhere.
  • Heavy use: overload protection may pause long, heavy jobs, so plan breaks or a spare battery.
  • Final tightening: use a torque wrench where a specified torque applies.
  • Charging: check charger type and charging time in the manual.
  • Safety: wear eye protection, support vehicles on stands and read the manual.
