The Seesii WH810 is an 18V cordless impact wrench with a 1/2-inch anvil. It is built for loosening and tightening large nuts and bolts, such as wheel lug nuts on cars, trucks and RVs, without an air compressor or a cord. The brand lists a very high torque figure and supplies two batteries and four sockets. Here's what those numbers mean.

Torque: what the figures mean

Seesii rates the WH810 at up to 812 ft-lbs (1,100 N·m) of maximum torque and 1,032 ft-lbs (1,400 N·m) of maximum breakaway torque. Breakaway torque is the force available to loosen a stuck fastener, and it is typically higher than the tightening torque. These are the brand's figures, and manufacturers usually measure them under ideal conditions.

For tightening, particularly wheel nuts and other parts with a specified torque, impact wrenches don't replace a torque wrench. Check the vehicle's manual for correct values.

Speeds and trigger

The tool has three speed settings: 0-1,500, 0-2,000 and 0-2,500 impacts per minute (IPM). Seesii says speed also rises within each range as you press the trigger harder. A lower setting helps with control on smaller fasteners, while the highest suits stubborn ones.

Brushless motor and batteries

The wrench uses a brushless motor. Compared with brushed motors, brushless designs typically run more efficiently and with less wear, since there are no carbon brushes to replace.

It ships with two 5.0Ah batteries. Seesii says that's 25% more capacity than 4.0Ah packs. With two, one can charge while the other is in use, which suits long jobs.

Anvil, direction and light

The 1/2-inch anvil has a hog ring, a retaining ring that holds the socket in place so it doesn't fall off during use. Forward and reverse modes are included, along with a lock. In reverse, the brand says a brake-stop function reduces speed and torque once a nut is loose, so the nut doesn't spin off and fly away. An LED light illuminates the work area, which helps in a dim garage or under a vehicle.

Size and weight

The tool measures about 16.9 x 9.8 x 5.9 inches (43 x 25 x 15 cm) in its case and weighs 7.5 lb (about 3.4 kg), including its battery according to the listing. Four sockets are in the box.

Who it suits

The brand lists uses from auto and truck maintenance and RV work to equipment repair and heavy engineering. It suits owners who handle their own tyre changes and repairs, and mechanics wanting a cordless tool. Occasional users may not need this level of torque. Wear eye protection and use impact-rated sockets.

What to check before you buy

  • Sockets: use impact-rated sockets in sizes that match your fasteners; check what's included.
  • Torque needs: compare the listed torque with the jobs you do.
  • Weight: 7.5 lb can tire the arm in overhead work.
  • Batteries: confirm the voltage and whether they fit other tools you own.
  • Tightening: use a torque wrench for final tightening where a value is specified.
  • Manual: follow safety guidance for use and charging.
