The ASUS Vivobook Go 15 (model E1504FA-AS33) is a light 15.6-inch laptop for everyday tasks such as browsing, schoolwork, documents and video calls. It focuses on essentials: a slim body, a modest processor and a privacy shutter over the camera.

Processor and memory

The AMD Ryzen 3 7320U is a quad-core chip designed for thin laptops, with integrated AMD Radeon graphics. ASUS describes it as giving essential performance for browsing and productivity. The laptop has 8GB of DDR5 memory, enough for a browser with several tabs plus office programs, though heavy multitasking or demanding creative software may call for more. Integrated graphics suit video playback and light photo work, not modern 3D games.

Storage

Storage is a 128GB SSD. Solid-state drives start up and open files much faster than hard drives, but 128GB is small once Windows 11 Home and apps are installed. Many people pair a laptop like this with cloud storage or an external drive for photos and large files.

Display

The 15.6-inch NanoEdge display is a full HD panel with very slim bezels, a 60Hz refresh rate, 250 nits of sustained brightness and a 45% NTSC colour gamut. A 45% NTSC gamut is typical of basic everyday screens and is not intended for colour-critical work. 250 nits is fine indoors, while bright rooms or outdoor use may make the screen harder to read.

Ports and wireless

The port list is generous for a laptop this slim:

  • 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, for power and display
  • 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
  • 1 x USB 2.0 Type-A
  • 1 x HDMI 1.4
  • 1 x 3.5mm combo audio jack
  • 1 x DC-in

Wireless is Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. Wi-Fi 5 works well on most home networks but is a generation behind Wi-Fi 6.

Keyboard, camera and sound

The ErgoSense keyboard comes with a precision touchpad, and the 180° hinge lets the screen lie flat. The 720p HD camera has a privacy shutter you can slide closed. Audio comes from built-in speakers tuned with SonicMaster, plus an array microphone.

Size and weight

It measures about 14.19 x 9.15 x 0.70 inches and weighs 3.59 lb (about 1.6 kg). The box includes a 45W AC adapter, warranty information and a manual.

Who it suits

It suits students, home users and anyone who needs a light laptop for web, documents, streaming and calls. It is not designed for gaming, video editing or other demanding work.

What to check before you buy

  • Storage: 128GB leaves limited room; plan for cloud or external storage.
  • Workload: check that your programs run comfortably on a Ryzen 3 with 8GB.
  • Screen: 250 nits and 45% NTSC suit indoor everyday use.
  • Memory: check the manual on whether it can be upgraded.
  • Charging: USB-C supports power, but the supplied 45W adapter is the safe choice.
  • Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi 5 is fine for most homes; check it fits your router.
