The ASUS ProArt LC 360 is an all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooler for desktop processors. A sealed pump block sits on the CPU, coolant circulates to a 360 mm radiator, and three fans push air through it. It is styled to match ASUS's ProArt family of components, and the brand pitches it at content creators who want cool, quiet running.

How an all-in-one liquid cooler works

A pump block on the processor carries heat into a coolant loop, which runs through tubes to a radiator. Fans move air across the radiator to release that heat. Unlike a custom loop, an AIO is sold sealed and pre-filled, so there is no coolant to mix or top up. Compared with a large air cooler, an AIO moves the bulk to the radiator, which can mean a tidier look around the CPU socket.

What "360" means

The 360 refers to the radiator's length: it takes three 120 mm fans in a row. A longer radiator has more surface area to shed heat, which typically helps sustained loads such as rendering, and often lets the fans spin slower and quieter for the same temperature. It needs a case with a place to mount a 360 mm radiator, usually the front or top panel.

Fans and noise

ASUS fits three matte black Alphacool Apex Stealth Metal Power fans, rated up to 3000 RPM, with low noise and daisy-chain installation. Daisy-chaining means the fans plug into each other, so a single cable runs to the motherboard, which keeps cabling neater. ASUS also says an advanced three-phase motor gives excellent cooling and quieter operation. Three-phase motors typically run more smoothly than conventional ones, which can reduce vibration.

The status meter

An illuminated meter shows live system load, temperatures and fan speeds, so you can see what the machine is doing without opening monitoring software. It also supports the minimalist look of the ProArt line.

Compatibility

The listing names Intel LGA 1700, 1200 and 115X sockets, and AMD AM5 and AM4. That covers a wide range of current and older desktop platforms. Check the exact socket on your board, and the mounting hardware in the box, before ordering.

Size and weight

The cooler is listed at about 15.5 by 4.7 by 1.1 inches (39 by 12 by 2.8 cm), likely referring to the radiator, and weighs 8.1 lb (about 3.7 kg). The fans add thickness once mounted, so the total depth is larger than the radiator figure alone.

Who it suits

It suits builders of workstations or creator PCs who run long, heavy workloads, or who want a clean look with low noise and have a case designed for a 360 mm radiator. It is more than light everyday use typically needs.

What to check before you buy

  • Case support: confirm that your case lists 360 mm radiator support and has the clearance around it.
  • Socket: match your CPU socket to the supported list.
  • RAM and VRM clearance: check there is space around the pump block on your motherboard.
  • Power and headers: check the motherboard has the headers the pump, fans and meter need, as described in the manual.
  • Orientation: the manual covers the best radiator position, which usually keeps the pump from sitting at the highest point.
  • Warranty: read the terms for the cooler and the coolant loop.
