The ASUS Prime LC 360 ARGB is an all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooler for a PC processor. It pairs a 360 mm radiator, three pre-installed ARGB fans and a pump block with an infinity mirror effect, and it is styled to match ASUS Prime motherboards.

How an AIO cooler works

A sealed loop carries coolant between a block on the CPU and a radiator. The block absorbs heat, the liquid moves it to the radiator, and the fans blow air through the radiator's fins. The "360" refers to a radiator that fits three 120 mm fans. In general, a larger radiator has more surface area to shed heat, which can help with high-power processors, though case airflow also matters.

The contact area and finned channels

ASUS highlights a specially designed CPU contact area, plus finned channels in the block, to improve heat transfer from the processor. The company says this provides strong heat dissipation. Exact temperatures depend on the CPU, case, fan speeds and room, so treat that as the brand's claim.

Lighting and cabling

The pump block has customisable infinity mirror lenses, and the pre-installed fans are ARGB, meaning each can show addressable colours. ASUS says a single cable connects the lighting and the fans, which is meant to cut down on clutter in the case. Lighting control usually goes through the motherboard's ARGB header or software, so check that your board has a matching header.

Tubing and build

The tubing is sleeved and reinforced for durability, according to ASUS. The listing gives dimensions of 15.6 x 4.7 x 1.1 inches and a weight of 5.2 lb, which is the radiator's size, so case clearance is worth measuring.

Socket support

The listing names AMD AM5 and AM4 and Intel LGA 1851, 1700, 1200 and 115x sockets. That broad range means it is not tied to one generation, but the mounting hardware in the box determines the exact fit, so check the manual.

Who it suits

It fits builders with an ASUS Prime-style motherboard or a colour-matched build who want an AIO that is largely pre-assembled, with fans already installed. Anyone with a very small case should check that a 360 mm radiator fits.

What to check before you buy

  • Confirm your CPU socket is in the listed AMD and Intel range.
  • Check that your case can mount a 360 mm radiator (top or front) and the clearance for fans and memory.
  • Look for an ARGB header and a CPU fan or pump header on your motherboard.
  • Find the right direction for tubing and where the pump block's cable runs.
  • Think about noise at different fan speeds.
  • Read the manual about mounting, thermal paste and the retention hardware.

The short version

  • 360 mm AIO CPU liquid cooler with three pre-installed ARGB fans.
  • Infinity mirror pump block and a specially designed CPU contact area.
  • Sleeved, reinforced tubing and a single cable for lighting and fans.
  • Lists AM5, AM4, LGA 1851, 1700, 1200 and 115x socket support.
