The aosu T2 Ultra (model C9X11) is a two-camera home security kit. The cameras are 4K pan-tilt domes with a built-in battery and a detachable solar panel, and they report to a hub called the aosuBase. It is meant for a house where you want outdoor coverage without cabling.

4K TrueColor night vision

aosu says each camera provides 4K TrueColor Night Vision, with vivid colour at night even without floodlights. 4K gives more detail than 1080p or 2K, which helps with zooming into a recorded clip. Night image quality still depends on available light, so a very dark yard will look different from one with a streetlight nearby.

Triple AI detection and Vehicle Guard

The listing describes Triple AI Detection that identifies people and activity to reduce false alerts. On-device AI detects people and vehicles, and Smart Vehicle Guard watches parked vehicles and alerts you when movement is detected nearby. You can customise activity zones and trigger light and sound warnings.

360° pan and tilt with auto tracking

The dome design pans and tilts through 360°, with real-time automatic tracking. aosu says this leaves no blind spots, indoors or out. A moving camera can only look one way at a time, but it follows what it detects.

Multi-camera tracking

Multi-Camera Tracking links clips from different cameras into a single video, so one alert shows the whole event from start to finish. This saves going through lots of short clips.

The aosuBase and storage

The aosuBase has 32GB of built-in storage, expandable to 1TB (not included) of local, encrypted storage. aosu says no subscription is needed. The base connects to your router by Ethernet, and the cameras connect to the base wirelessly, so it does not matter whether your home Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz or 5GHz. The system supports up to six cameras, so a two-camera kit can be extended.

Power

Each camera has a 9200mAh battery and a detachable solar panel. A detachable panel can be placed in a sunnier position than the camera. Charging depends on the sunlight the panel receives.

Who it suits

It suits a typical single-family home where two cameras cover the main areas, such as the front and back, and the owner wants local storage and the option to add more cameras later.

What to check before you buy

  • Router access: the aosuBase needs an Ethernet connection to your router.
  • Storage: the larger memory card, up to 1TB, is not included.
  • Panel placement: confirm each panel can sit in direct sun, and check the lead length in the manual.
  • Camera count: two cameras may not cover every side of a larger property.
  • Weight and mounting: dome cameras with batteries are bulkier than small bullet cameras; check your mounting surface.
  • Privacy rules: check local rules on recording.
