The VEVOR YK-300 is an aluminum cart built for anglers who walk onto piers or across sand with a lot of gear. Two large inflatable wheels carry the load, and eight rod holders let you park your rods while you set up. VEVOR also suggests it for beach and picnic trips, so it works as a general carrying cart as well.
Wheels for sand and rough ground
The cart has two 13-inch PU inflatable wheels. Wide balloon-style tyres spread weight over more surface, so a loaded cart tends to roll across sand instead of digging in. VEVOR says they handle sand, mud, gravel and grass. Larger wheels also roll over small obstacles more easily. As with any inflatable tyre, pressure affects performance, so check the manual for the correct level.
Load limit and cargo space
VEVOR gives a load capacity of 300 lb (about 136 kg). The frame is listed as 34 inches long, 14.5 inches wide and 7 inches high, which is about 86 × 37 × 18 cm. That space is long and narrow, which suits rods, tackle boxes, a cooler or a bucket. Keep the load centred and low, and stay within the stated limit. Wet sand and slopes make a heavy cart harder to control.
Rod holders
There are eight rod holders with a 2-inch diameter, using a portable rod-insertion design. VEVOR says they take a range of rods. The useful point is to check that your reel seats and rod butts fit this diameter, and that a rod set in a holder cannot be pulled over by a strong bite or by wind.
Aluminum frame and weight
The frame is high-grade aluminum, which VEVOR says is rust resistant. Aluminum keeps the cart light: the listing gives 20.7 lb (about 9.4 kg). The assembled size is given as 51.6 × 32.3 × 34.6 inches (roughly 131 × 82 × 88 cm). Salt water and sand can still affect fasteners and bearings, so rinse and dry the cart after use.
Detachable design for storage
Rather than a one-piece cart, this model comes apart. VEVOR says the detachable structure makes storage simpler and lets the cart fit in a smaller space at home or in a vehicle. Check how many pieces it separates into and whether you need tools to take it apart.
Who it suits
It suits shore and pier anglers, beach-goers with heavy loads and people who need a lightweight cart for rough ground. It is less suited to places with stairs or very soft deep sand, where any cart needs extra effort.
What to check before you buy
- Assembled size: make sure the cart can pass through gates, boardwalks and pier entrances you use.
- Load: weigh your usual gear and keep within 300 lb.
- Rod fit: confirm your rods fit 2-inch holders.
- Storage: measure your trunk or storage space against the cart's detached pieces.
- Tyre upkeep: inflatable wheels need a pump and occasional pressure checks.
- Aftercare: rinse salt off and dry the frame.
- Local rules: some piers and beaches limit carts or wheeled equipment.
