The VEVOR HWT23P is a portable electric pressure washer with a 1900W motor, rated at up to 2300 PSI and 1.9 GPM. It is aimed at home cleaning jobs such as patios, fences, decks, driveways, cars, RVs and lawn equipment.
What PSI and GPM mean
PSI (pounds per square inch) is the force of the water at the nozzle, and it helps lift dirt off a surface. GPM (gallons per minute) is the volume of water, which helps rinse debris away. VEVOR quotes the maximum figures, so real output depends on the nozzle in use. Electric washers in this class are typically used for light to medium household jobs.
VEVOR says the washer can remove old paint, oil and weeds and stubborn stains. Hard surfaces such as concrete cope with high pressure, but softer materials like wood, painted panels and car paint can be damaged, so start with a wider nozzle and keep a distance.
Four nozzles and a detergent bottle
The four quick-connect metal nozzles are 0°, 15°, 25° and 40°. A narrow angle concentrates the spray, while a wide one covers more area at lower impact. The 0° tip is the most aggressive and is generally not for delicate surfaces. A 500 ml self-spraying detergent bottle is included, along with a water inlet filter that helps keep the nozzles from blocking.
Hose, cord and mobility
The pressure hose is 26 ft (8 m) long and the power cord is 35 ft (10.6 m), so the washer can sit some distance from the work. It has metal water inlet and outlet fittings, which VEVOR says prevent leaks, and IPX5 water protection. The body is PP plastic, with an ergonomic handle and four universal wheels. It weighs 21.6 lb (9.8 kg) and measures 12.4 x 10.4 x 35 inches (315 x 265 x 890 mm). VEVOR says one person can assemble it in minutes.
Protective features
According to the brand, it includes:
- Total Stop System (TSS), which stops the pump when the trigger is released,
- a press-type lock on the spray gun to prevent accidental triggering,
- GFCI protection on the power cord,
- automatic shut-off when temperatures exceed 266°F.
VEVOR recommends not running it for more than three hours at a stretch. Water temperature should be between 32 and 104°F (0-40°C). Follow the manual and local electrical codes for outdoor use.
What's in the box
The package lists the washer, high-pressure gun and gun rod, high-pressure hose, the nozzles, the foam pot, instructions, two self-tapping screws and four casters.
What to check before you buy
- Power: it runs on 120 V / 60 Hz at 1900W, so check the outlet and circuit.
- Water supply: you need a tap and garden hose connection.
- Surfaces: check what you will clean and pick the nozzle carefully.
- Reach: consider the 26 ft hose and 35 ft cord for the area.
- Winter storage: drain the pump and hoses as the manual advises.
