The VEVOR HTB23S-B is an electric pressure washer for cleaning cars, fences, driveways, patios and decks. It runs from a mains outlet, so there's no engine to fuel, and it comes with four nozzles and a foam cannon. The headline numbers are large, so it helps to know what they mean.

What 4500 PSI and 3.2 GPM mean

PSI measures the pressure of the water leaving the nozzle, and GPM measures how much water flows per minute. Pressure loosens stuck-on dirt, while flow carries it away and covers area faster. VEVOR lists this washer at a maximum of 4500 PSI and 3.2 GPM, driven by a 1900W motor. Brands often quote the maximum under ideal conditions, and real output depends on the nozzle, the water supply and the outlet. The brand says it is suited to oil stains, old paint and stubborn dirt, as well as RVs, patios and decks.

Very high pressure can damage soft wood, paint and some siding, so start with a wider nozzle and more distance, and check the manual.

The four nozzles

The quick-connect metal nozzles come in four spray angles:

  • 0°: a narrow, concentrated jet for stubborn spots on hard surfaces
  • 15°: a strong, focused fan for general hard-surface cleaning
  • 25°: a wider fan for broader areas
  • 40°: the widest, gentlest fan for delicate surfaces and rinsing

A built-in nozzle holder keeps them on the machine. VEVOR also fits an inlet filter, which it says reduces nozzle clogging and replacement.

Foam cannon

A 500 ml foam cannon is included. It mixes detergent with water and sprays a thick layer of foam, which is commonly used for washing vehicles. Use a cleaning product the manual approves for the machine.

Reach: hose and cord

The 26-foot hose and 35-foot power cord give a good working radius from a single outlet. VEVOR describes the PVC hose as wear-resistant and burst-proof, with metal inlet and outlet connections and a pure copper spray gun connector designed to avoid leaks. A hose hook helps keep it tidy. Keep any extension cord outdoor-rated and short, as the manual advises.

Built-in protection and portability

The motor shuts off automatically if its temperature goes above 105°C. The body is made of PP plastic, with an ergonomic handle and swivel wheels. It measures about 11 x 9.8 x 29.5 inches (28 x 25 x 75 cm) and weighs 17.6 lb (about 8 kg), which is light enough to carry up steps.

Who it suits

It suits homeowners with a car, fence, patio or driveway to clean regularly, and anyone who wants to avoid the fuel and noise of a petrol washer. It's less suited to places without an outlet and a garden tap, since both are needed.

What to check before you buy

  • Power: a 1900W motor draws a lot of current. Check the outlet and circuit, and use a ground-fault protected outlet outdoors.
  • Water supply: confirm you have a tap or hose that can supply enough flow for 3.2 GPM.
  • Hose connectors: check the garden hose thread matches the inlet.
  • Surfaces: check that your surfaces tolerate high pressure.
  • Detergent: use only cleaners approved in the manual.
  • Storage: in cold climates, drain the pump and keep it indoors to avoid freezing damage.

  • 26-foot hose and 35-foot power cord.
