The VEVOR HRX13P is a compact electric pressure washer. VEVOR rates it at a maximum of 4200 PSI and 2.8 GPM, driven by a 1700W motor. It comes with four quick-connect nozzles and a foam cannon, and is aimed at cleaning cars, fences, driveways, patios and decks.
What PSI and GPM mean
PSI is pressure: how hard the water hits the surface. GPM is flow: how much water arrives each minute. Pressure loosens grime, and flow rinses it away, so both matter for cleaning speed. VEVOR's "max" figures describe the best the machine can reach, and in practice many electric washers deliver less at the nozzle than a headline number implies. Compare the rated figures with the manual's working values.
VEVOR says the machine shuts off automatically if the temperature exceeds 105°C.
The four nozzles
The set has four metal quick-connect nozzles in 0°, 15°, 25° and 40°. In general, the narrower the angle, the more concentrated and forceful the spray:
- 0° is a pinpoint jet, strong enough to damage many surfaces, so it needs care.
- 15° suits tough stains on hard surfaces such as concrete.
- 25° is a common general cleaning angle.
- 40° is a wide, gentle fan for vehicles and delicate surfaces.
The inlet filter is meant to cut down on nozzle blockage and replacement, according to VEVOR.
Foam cannon
The included 500 ml foam cannon mixes detergent into a thick foam, a method often used for washing cars before rinsing. Only use cleaners that suit your machine and the surface, as the manual advises.
Hose, cord and build
A 20-foot hose and 35-foot power cord give a reasonable working radius from one outlet. VEVOR lists metal inlet and outlet connections, a pure copper spray gun connector, and a wear-resistant high-strength PVC hose that is burst-proof. A hose hook and a built-in nozzle holder keep accessories together.
Size and portability
The body is polypropylene with an ergonomic handle and swivel wheels. It measures about 11.0 x 9.8 x 28.3 inches and weighs 16.8 lb (about 7.6 kg), which is light enough to carry up a few steps.
Who it suits
It suits home users with cars, fences, patios and decks who want an electric, plug-in machine. Very large jobs or heavy professional use may want a more powerful or petrol-driven unit.
What to check before you buy
- Power: confirm your outlet and any extension cord suit a 1700W motor.
- Water supply: you need a garden tap with enough flow to match the listed 2.8 GPM.
- Surfaces: match nozzle angle to the surface, such as wood, paint and soft stone, which can be damaged.
- Reach: the 20-foot hose and 35-foot cord may not cover large areas.
- Detergent: check which cleaners the manual allows.
- Storage and frost: check the manual on draining water before cold weather.
