The VEVOR Gas Pressure Washer is a wheeled, gasoline-powered machine that reaches up to 3,600 PSI at up to 2.6 gallons per minute. Because it runs on its own engine, it works far from any outlet, which suits driveways, patios, fences and vehicles at the edge of a property. Here is what its numbers and parts mean in practice.

What 3,600 PSI and 2.6 GPM mean

Pressure (PSI) is how hard the water hits the surface; flow (GPM) is how much water carries the loosened dirt away. Both matter. Higher pressure lifts stuck-on grime, while higher flow rinses a large area faster. A common rule of thumb multiplies the two into "cleaning units": 3,600 x 2.6 gives about 9,360, which puts this machine at the heavy-duty end of home use.

Both figures are maximums. Actual pressure at the nozzle depends on the nozzle you fit and on the water supply, and wider spray angles spread the same water over a larger area at lower impact.

The engine and the copper pump

A 7.0 HP gasoline engine drives the pump, and its fuel tank holds 0.8 gallons (3 litres). You start it with a pull rope: switch the engine on, open the fuel valve, set the choke when the engine is cold, pull the starter, then move the throttle to run once it warms up. Fuel and oil go in before the first start.

The pump is full copper. VEVOR says it holds up to frequent high-pressure use with water and cleaners, and lowers the chance of pump damage from heat, leaks or unstable pressure. Like any pump, it lasts longest when it isn't run dry or left full of water in freezing weather, so follow the manual for winter storage.

Five nozzles, from jet to soap

The five quick-connect metal nozzles follow the usual colour code:

  • 0° (red): a pinpoint jet for gaps, crevices and stubborn spots. It's powerful enough to mark wood and soft surfaces, so use it with care.
  • 15° (yellow): a narrow fan for moss on stone or concrete and for stripping heavy dirt.
  • 25° (green): a general-purpose fan for fences, decks and siding.
  • 40° (white): the widest, gentlest spray, suited to cars and windows.
  • Soap nozzle: a low-pressure nozzle that applies detergent before rinsing.

They snap onto the spray gun's extension wand and clip onto the frame when not in use.

Hose, gun and onboard storage

A 26 ft (about 8 m) high-pressure hose connects the pump to a quick-connect spray gun with an extension wand. VEVOR describes the hose as resistant to abrasion and high pressure. A water inlet hose kit is included for the garden hose connection.

The gun, hose and nozzles all have a place on the machine itself, so nothing gets left behind when you move it between jobs.

Moving it around

The machine sits on a steel frame with a handle and two 10-inch wheels that never go flat. That makes it practical to roll from the front yard to the back, across lawns and paths. It is a full-size gas unit, so plan on enough space in the garage or shed to keep it.

Who it suits

It suits homeowners with large areas to clean, such as long driveways, patios, fences, decks and siding, and anyone who cleans cars, trailers or outdoor equipment away from an outlet. For small jobs on a balcony or in a tight courtyard, a full-size gas machine is more than most people need.

What to check before you buy

  • Water supply: your outdoor tap should deliver at least 2.6 GPM.
  • Surfaces: check that the pressure suits what you plan to clean, and start with a wide nozzle.
  • Fuel and oil: you'll need gasoline and engine oil of the type the manual specifies.
  • Noise and fumes: gas engines are loud and give off exhaust; run it outdoors only, away from windows and doors.
  • Safety: wear eye protection, never aim the spray at people or animals, and follow the manual.
  • Room to keep it: allow space for a wheeled unit with its hose and accessories.
