The VEVOR NMDPA33-G33-45-110 is a 110V AC diaphragm water pump with a built-in pressure switch. VEVOR positions it for RV and marine water systems, sprayers, irrigation and car washing, anywhere you want water on demand at steady pressure.
How a diaphragm pump works
A diaphragm pump uses a flexible membrane that moves back and forth to draw water in and push it out. Pumps of this type are typically self-priming and can handle short periods without water better than many other designs. VEVOR says this one self-primes up to 6 feet (about 1.8 m) and supports dry running for short periods.
Flow and pressure
The pump is rated at an open flow of 3.3 gallons per minute (about 12.5 litres) with a 1.6A motor. The rated pressure is 45 PSI, adjustable from 40 to 80 PSI. Open flow is measured with nothing restricting the outlet, so flow at a faucet or spray nozzle is usually lower as the pressure rises. VEVOR notes that turning the pressure switch clockwise increases pressure and counterclockwise decreases it.
Automatic start and stop
The pressure switch means the pump starts when you open a faucet and stops when you close it, so you don't need to switch it on and off by hand. In an RV or boat, that makes the water behave like a home supply.
Where it's used
The listing names RVs, campers, boats and yachts, agricultural irrigation, long-distance pumping across a courtyard, sprayers and car washing. The pump is described as running quietly, which VEVOR says suits sleeping areas. Pumps of this type typically vibrate and hum, so a soft mount can help reduce noise.
Protection and certification
VEVOR lists FCC certification, overload protection and included sealing tape to reduce wear and leaks. It also says the overload protection suits constant use with hot water; check the manual for the maximum water temperature. The pump is about 11.8 x 7.3 x 7.1 inches (30 x 18.5 x 18 cm).
Who it suits
It suits RV and boat owners who need a pressurised fresh-water system, and gardeners or small farms that need a low-flow supply for sprayers or short irrigation runs. It needs a 110V AC supply, so it's not for 12V-only set-ups.
What to check before you buy
- Power: it needs 110V AC, so confirm you have a suitable supply, and follow local electrical codes and the manual for wiring and any ground-fault protection.
- Fittings: check the port sizes and hose connectors you need, and what's included.
- Flow and pressure: match 3.3 GPM and 45 PSI to your fixtures or sprayer.
- Suction height: the 6-foot self-priming figure is a maximum; shorter lifts are easier.
- Fluids: it's described for water; check the manual before pumping anything else.
- Mounting: a stable, dry, ventilated spot, ideally with a strainer on the inlet.
- Winter use: drain the pump in freezing conditions, as the manual advises.
