ECO-WORTHY 195W N-Type Bifacial Solar Panels: features, specs and who they suit
Two 195W bifacial N-type solar panels with six shade zones, an IP68 junction box and pre-drilled frames. What the ECO-WORTHY specs mean for RVs, boats and backup power.

The ECO-WORTHY 195W N-Type set is a pair of rigid bifacial solar panels, each rated at 195 watts, for 390 watts in total. They are built around two ideas: losing less power when part of a panel is shaded, and collecting extra light through the back. Here is what the specs mean for an RV roof, a boat or a backup power system.
What N-type cells and 25% efficiency mean
The panels use N-type silicon cells, common in newer high-efficiency panels. ECO-WORTHY quotes up to 25% conversion efficiency and says the cells improve output and reduce hotspots and the risk of microcracks compared with older P-type cells.
Efficiency figures like this usually describe the cells. The whole panel is somewhat lower, because the frame and the gaps between cells produce nothing: 195 watts from about one square metre works out to roughly 20%. Higher efficiency means more watts from the same space.
Each cell has 18 busbars (the "18BB" in the name), the thin metal strips that carry current off the cell. More busbars shorten the path the current travels, and ECO-WORTHY says the design reduces resistive loss and hotspots. The 195W figure is measured under standard test conditions; real output is usually lower and varies with sun angle, heat and season.
How the six-zone layout handles shade
In a conventional panel, cells are wired in series, so a shadow over a few cells can drag down the output of the whole group they belong to. ECO-WORTHY says typical panels use two such zones, while each of these panels has six independent power zones. When partial shade falls on one zone, only that zone is affected and the other five keep delivering full power.
Shade still costs energy; the zones limit how much is lost when a roof vent, a mast or a branch shades part of the panel. Integrated bypass diodes let current route around shaded cells, which also helps reduce hotspots.
What the bifacial back side adds
Bifacial panels collect light on both faces: the back picks up light reflected from the surface underneath, such as a pale roof, sand, concrete or snow. ECO-WORTHY says each panel adds more than 100Wh of extra energy over four hours of peak sunlight.
How much the back contributes depends on the installation. Panels tilted up on a frame, with space and a bright surface below, typically gain the most. Panels mounted flat and close to a dark roof see little reflected light.
Outdoor build and installation
The panels have tempered glass, a corrosion-resistant aluminum frame and an IP68 junction box, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against continuous immersion in water. ECO-WORTHY lists a 5,400 Pa snow load and a 2,400 Pa wind load. A pascal is one newton per square metre, so 5,400 Pa is roughly the weight of 550 kg spread over each square metre. The listed temperature range is -40°F to 176°F (-40°C to 80°C).
Each panel measures 58.86 x 26.18 x 1.18 in (about 150 x 66.5 x 3 cm) and weighs 20.15 lb (9.1 kg). The frames have pre-drilled mounting, grounding and drainage holes, and the panels use plug-in solar connectors. ECO-WORTHY adds 10 years of technical support and a 30-year performance commitment.
Who it suits
ECO-WORTHY shows the panels on RVs, on a boat and as backup power during grid outages. They suit owners with room for two full-size rigid panels, each almost five feet long, who want more output from a spot that sometimes catches shade. Panels are one part of a system: charging a battery needs a charge controller, and running household appliances needs an inverter.
What to check before you buy
- Space: measure your roof or mounting area, including room for tilt mounts if you want the rear-side gain.
- Electrical match: confirm the panels' voltage and current in the brand's specifications and check them against your charge controller.
- Mounting hardware: check what is included and what your roof, deck or frame needs.
- Weight: two panels add about 40 lb (18 kg), plus mounts.
- Support terms: read what the technical support and performance commitment cover.
The short version
- Two 195W bifacial panels with N-type, 18-busbar cells and up to 25% efficiency (ECO-WORTHY's figure).
- Six independent power zones per panel limit the loss when part of it is shaded.
- The back side adds energy from reflected light, most when tilted above a bright surface.
- Tempered glass, aluminum frame, IP68 junction box, 5,400 Pa snow load and 2,400 Pa wind load.
- 20.15 lb per panel, with pre-drilled holes and plug-in connectors.
