The Yeedi C12 Pro Plus is a robot vacuum that also mops. It maps your home with a laser sensor, cleans on a planned route and is controlled from an app. It is meant to take over routine floor cleaning so that you only need to step in for emptying, water refills and maintenance.

What 8000Pa suction means

Pa (pascals) measures suction pressure. Higher numbers generally mean more pulling force, though cleaning also depends on brush design, airflow and how well the nozzle seals to the floor. Yeedi says the C12 Pro Plus has a high-speed motor and a straight-through dust path that reduces suction loss, with extra power for carpets. Figures like 8000Pa are best used to compare robots from the same maker.

The bagless dustbin

Yeedi calls its filtration PureCyclone: 14 small cyclones and a four-layer filter that separate fine dust, which the brand says is collected within about 10 seconds. The dustbin is reusable, so there are no disposable bags to buy. The product name also refers to seven weeks of dust storage, but the listing doesn't explain how that works, so confirm what is in the box.

Brush and hair

A tangled roller brush is a common annoyance with robot vacuums. Yeedi's ZeroTangle design pairs dual comb teeth with angled bristles, and the brand states a tangling rate as low as 0%. Households with long hair or pets will still want to check and clean the brush regularly.

The mopping system

The OZMO mopping system uses a large cloth that vibrates more than 480 times a minute, to help loosen dried-on marks. A 180 ml electrically controlled water tank releases water as it goes, and Yeedi lists 6N of downward pressure. The robot recognizes carpets, which helps it avoid wetting them, according to the brand. Mopping suits sealed hard floors; check your floor manufacturer's advice.

TrueMapping uses a 360-degree laser scan. Yeedi gives an 8-minute mapping time, a scanning accuracy of 10 mm at close range, and a bow-shaped (back-and-forth) path. The robot can climb obstacles up to 20 mm, and four downward sensors detect drops such as stairs. Tidy cables and small objects away before a run, as no robot sees everything.

Battery and app

A 5200mAh battery gives up to 300 minutes per charge, according to Yeedi. In the app you can choose among four suction levels, water volumes and two cleaning modes, edit the map and customise routines.

Who it suits

It suits busy households with hard floors and some carpet who want regular automated cleaning and are happy to use an app. Large homes with many obstacles may need occasional help.

What to check before you buy

  • Floors: mopping suits sealed hard floors; test unfamiliar surfaces.
  • Thresholds: 20 mm is the stated climbing limit.
  • Hair and pets: plan to clean the brush.
  • Wi-Fi: the app needs a home network.
  • Replacement parts: check availability of filters, brushes and mop cloths.
  • Size: the listed dimensions are 13 x 19 x 16 inches.
