The eufy RoboVac L35 Hybrid (model T2194) is a robot vacuum that also mops. It maps your home with a laser sensor, cleans on a planned path, and is controlled from a phone app or by voice. It is meant for households that want routine floor cleaning to happen without carrying a vacuum around.

How laser navigation works

eufy calls its system iPath Laser Navigation. A LiDAR sensor measures distances around the robot to build a map of the room in real time. Robots that map this way typically clean in orderly rows rather than bouncing randomly, and eufy says the L35 follows a Z-shaped path to cover floors efficiently. A map also lets the app show what was cleaned and lets you set boundaries.

What 3,200Pa of suction means

Pascals (Pa) measure suction pressure. A higher figure generally means more pull on dirt, but it is only one factor next to brush design and how well the robot seals against the floor. eufy rates the L35 at up to 3,200Pa, with four suction levels, and says it handles crumbs and pet hair on hard floors and carpet. Lower levels are usually quieter and use less battery.

The mopping side

The L35 carries a 200 ml electronic water tank. Through the app you can pick from three water flow levels, so a tile kitchen can get more water than a sensitive floor. As with most robot mops, it is built for light, regular cleaning of everyday dust and marks rather than scrubbing set-in stains. Check the manual for which floor types suit mopping and keep the mop away from carpet.

Maps, rooms and no-go zones

The robot can save maps for up to three floors of your home and recognise which floor it has been set down on. The saved map keeps room layouts and your preferences, including No-Go Zones, which are areas you tell it to stay out of, such as around pet bowls or loose cables.

App and voice control

The app handles scheduling, suction and water settings and maps. The L35 also works with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice commands. Confirm that your phone, Wi-Fi network and assistant are compatible.

Size and weight

It measures about 13.8 x 13.8 x 3.9 inches (35 x 35 x 10 cm) and weighs 8.6 lb (about 3.9 kg). The 3.9-inch height matters if you want it to pass under furniture.

Who it suits

It suits busy households, pet owners with hair on hard floors, and homes with more than one level where each floor's map can be stored.

What to check before you buy

  • Furniture clearance: measure the gap under sofas and beds against the 3.9-inch height.
  • Floors: mixed hard floors and carpet affect how you use the mop and suction levels.
  • Clutter: cords, socks and small objects still need to be picked up first.
  • Wi-Fi: the app needs a working home network.
  • Upkeep: the dust bin, brush, filter and mop parts need regular cleaning and eventual replacement; check the manual.
