The VEVOR SHC330 is a motorized TV lift that raises and lowers a screen at the press of a button. It lets a television sit out of sight, for instance inside a cabinet or at the foot of a bed, and rise when it's needed. It has a 1000mm (39.4-inch) stroke and is listed for TVs from 32 to 70 inches.
How the lift works
The lift has a steel frame with a motorized column. A TV attaches to it through the standard screw holes on the back of the set, and the motor, which VEVOR rates at 500 N, moves it up or down. VEVOR lists the speed as 35 mm/s, which it calls the fastest on the market, though that is the brand's own claim. The listing gives a total height range of 28.74 to 68.11 inches (about 73 to 173 cm). A four-level hook adjustment sets how the TV hangs.
Size and load capacity
The lift is made from carbon steel with a powder-coated, rust-proof finish, in black. It is listed as 19.1 x 26.1 inches, and the package measures 31.5 x 12.2 x 7.9 inches with a weight of 31 lb (about 14 kg). The load capacity is 154 lb (about 70 kg). The weight of your television, including any soundbar or other items you attach, must be within that figure. VEVOR says it fits most LCD, LED, plasma and curved TVs, and it lists brands including Samsung, Sony, LG, Vizio, TCL and others.
Controls and presets
The lift comes with a remote control and a wired hand controller. It can display the real-time height and has four preset height positions. Presets let you save, for example, a viewing height and a fully lowered height, so you don't have to hold the button each time.
Floor mounting only
The listing notes that it is not suitable for ceiling or wall mounting, and doing so may damage it. It is designed to be fixed to the floor with the supplied accessories, using M8 screws, for stability. A hollow cabinet is one of the uses VEVOR names, along with living rooms, bedrooms, offices, meeting rooms and hotel lobbies.
Planning the space
A lift needs more than the TV itself. The cabinet or furniture must be tall enough for the lowered height, deep and wide enough for the column, and strong enough to carry the load. Leave room for cables to move freely as the TV goes up and down, so they don't snag or stretch. The mounting surface must be solid, and anyone unsure about fixing it should ask a qualified installer.
Who it suits
It suits people who want a TV that disappears when not in use, small rooms where a TV stand would take up space, and offices or meeting rooms that need a screen on demand.
What to check before you buy
- TV size and weight: confirm that it falls in the 32 to 70 inch range and under 154 lb.
- Screw pattern: check that the TV's mounting holes match the lift's bracket.
- Cabinet or furniture: measure the interior against the lowered height and the lift's footprint.
- Floor: make sure it is solid enough to take M8 fixings.
- Cabling: plan slack for power, HDMI and other leads.
- Safety: follow the manual, keep fingers and objects clear of the column, and keep children away while it moves.
