The VEVOR NB-604 is a countertop food warmer with a glass display. It keeps cooked items such as burgers, pizza, bread, egg tarts and fried chicken warm and visible, ready to serve. It is made for bakeries, cafés, fast-food counters and convenience stores.
Steam heating and temperature control
VEVOR rates the heater at 800W and describes steam heating across a range from 86°F to 185°F (30°C to 85°C), adjusted with a knob. Steam heat adds moisture to the air in the cabinet, which, in general, helps keep baked and fried items from drying out as quickly as dry heat does. The knob lets you choose a warmer or gentler setting for different foods.
A holding temperature is not the same thing as cooking. Warmers are meant to keep already-cooked food hot, and food-safety guidance in your area sets the temperatures and time limits that apply. Check those, and the manual, before use.
Glass, light and display
The cabinet uses thick tempered glass, which VEVOR says retains heat while showing the products. A built-in LED warm light is there to make the food look more appealing. The glass lets customers see what is on offer without anyone opening the doors and letting heat escape.
Shelves and capacity
The unit holds 60 quarts (57 litres) and has three removable shelves, plus a flat top rack that can hold drinks or packaged foods. VEVOR lists egg tarts, burgers and bread among the foods it suits. With removable shelves, you can arrange spacing to suit tall or flat items.
Build and cleaning
The frame is painted cold-rolled steel, which VEVOR says gives strength and corrosion resistance, and non-slip feet help it stay put on a counter. For cleaning, the shelves come out and there is a bottom crumb tray, which keeps daily upkeep simple.
At about 18.5 by 15.2 by 25.2 inches and 41 lb, it needs a fairly small footprint on a counter but a sturdy surface.
