The Roborock Qrevo Pro is a robot vacuum and mop that comes with a dock to look after itself between cleans. The dock empties the dustbin, refills the water tank, washes the mop with hot water and dries it. Here is what each feature means for a typical home.
Suction and how the dock empties the bin
Roborock rates the Qrevo Pro at 7,000 Pa of suction. Pascals measure suction pressure; higher numbers generally mean more pull on dust embedded in carpet, though brush design and floor type matter too. When a clean ends, the robot automatically empties its dustbin into a sealed bag in the dock, so there is no need to empty it by hand after every run.
The FlexiArm edge mop
Mop edges are a common weak spot on robot cleaners. Roborock's FlexiArm design extends the mop toward the edge, and the brand states 98.8% edge coverage with a margin of 1.85 mm. In practice, that is intended to reduce the strip of uncleaned floor along skirting boards and cabinets.
Hot-water mop washing and drying
The dock washes the mop pad with 140°F (60°C) water, which Roborock says helps remove stubborn grime. Afterwards, auto mop drying runs so the pad is ready for next time and doesn't sit damp. Drying generally helps limit odours from a wet pad left in a dock.
Intelligent dirt detection
A sensor checks how dirty the wash water is while the mop is cleaned. Roborock says it then prompts re-washing of the mop and targets specific dirty areas. An auto tank refilling system tops up the water supply so mopping isn't interrupted.
Carpets and obstacles
With 10 mm mop lifting, the mop pad is raised when the robot moves onto carpet, so the carpet stays dry and a clean floor isn't smeared. Roborock's Reactive Tech obstacle avoidance helps it steer around furniture legs and objects such as stray toys. As with any robot vacuum, picking up cables and small items first is still sensible.
App control
The Roborock app lets you schedule cleans, change settings and receive notifications. Roborock notes it supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, so check that your router offers that band.
Size and weight
The listing gives dimensions of about 19.2 x 13.4 x 20.5 inches (49 x 34 x 52 cm) for the packaged unit, and a weight of 26 lb (about 11.8 kg). Plan space for the dock, which needs room around it and access to a power outlet.
Who it suits
It suits households with a mix of hard floors and some carpet who want the maintenance chores automated: emptying, refilling and washing the mop. It is also a fit for people who want scheduled cleaning controlled from a phone.
What to check before you buy
- Wi-Fi band: confirm your network supports 2.4GHz.
- Dock space: choose a spot with a power outlet and room around the dock.
- Floors: check which floor types the mop suits and how the robot treats rugs and thresholds.
- Consumables: check what bags, mop pads and cleaning solution are used and how often they need replacing.
- Water and upkeep: check how the tanks are filled and emptied and how the dock is cleaned.
- Home layout: check that it can pass under your furniture and over door thresholds.
