The Lefant M210 Pro is a slim robot vacuum for hard floors and low-pile rugs, with scheduled cleaning, app control and automatic recharging. It is the upgrade to Lefant's M201 and is designed to slide under furniture. Here is what its specs mean and what to check at home.

What 2200Pa suction means

Pascals (Pa) measure suction pressure. Higher numbers generally mean a stronger pull, although real cleaning also depends on the brushes, airflow and the floor. Lefant gives 2200Pa and says the M210 Pro improves on the M201 in suction, battery life, noise and recharging speed. App controls let you adjust the suction level.

Six cleaning modes

Lefant lists six modes: zigzag, random, spot, edge, scheduled and manual control. Zigzag covers open floor in lines, spot concentrates on a small dirty patch, and edge follows walls and skirting boards. Manual control lets you steer it from the app.

Brushes and sensors

Two side brushes sweep debris from edges and corners toward the suction path. An infrared sensor is built in to detect drops, so the robot avoids falling down stairs, and to avoid collisions. It uses sensor-based navigation rather than a mapping system, so it doesn't build a room map the way laser-guided models do.

Battery and recharging

Lefant quotes up to 120 minutes of cleaning per charge. The robot returns to its charging base when a session ends or the battery runs low. Actual runtime depends on the mode, suction level and floor type.

Slim body

The unit is 11 inches (about 28 cm) across, around 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall and weighs 6.7 lb (about 3 kg). The low height helps it reach under many sofas and beds, and Lefant describes the operation as quiet.

App and voice control

The Lefant app handles timed cleaning, progress monitoring, mode selection and suction level. It connects by Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and it works with Alexa and Google Assistant. Lefant notes it is only compatible with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, so check that your router offers that band.

Who it suits

It suits flats and smaller homes with mostly hard floors, and people who want regular, scheduled upkeep, including pet hair.

What to check before you buy

  • Floor type: hard floors and low-pile rugs suit this kind of robot best.
  • Furniture height: measure the gap under furniture against the 3-inch height.
  • Wi-Fi: confirm a 2.4GHz network.
  • Drops and clutter: clear cables and small objects before each run, and follow the manual's guidance near stairs.
  • Upkeep: check how to empty the bin and clean the brushes and filter.
  • Spare parts: confirm replacement brushes and filters are available.

The short version

  • A slim robot vacuum with 2200Pa suction, per Lefant.
  • Six modes: zigzag, random, spot, edge, scheduled and manual.
  • Up to 120 minutes per charge with automatic return to base.
  • App, Alexa and Google Assistant control on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
  • About 11 inches wide, 3 inches tall and 6.7 lb.
