The VEVOR ZSY01-2 is an electric hydraulic car jack that bundles three tools in one case: a jack, an impact wrench and a tire inflator. It runs from a vehicle's 12V supply, so changing a wheel doesn't depend on pumping a handle or cranking a screw. It is aimed at roadside tyre changes and routine work in a home garage.
What the 5-ton capacity means
VEVOR rates the jack at 5 tons (11,023 lb) with a lifting range of 6.1 to 17.7 inches (155 to 450 mm). The capacity is a ceiling for the load the jack can raise, and a car jack usually lifts only part of a vehicle's weight at a time, so 5 tons leaves a wide margin for most sedans, SUVs and light trucks. The brand says it suits any vehicle within that capacity.
The lifting range matters just as much. The 155 mm minimum height is what lets the jack slide under a lower car, so compare it with your vehicle's ground clearance at the lift point. The 450 mm maximum is the height the saddle reaches at full extension.
Lifting speed and automatic stop
According to VEVOR, the jack reaches its maximum height in about two minutes and stops lifting automatically when it gets there. As with any jack, it should be used on a flat, hard surface and placed square to the vehicle, as the brand notes. It is a lifting device only: the standard advice is never to work under a vehicle supported by a jack alone, and to use properly rated jack stands.
The electric impact wrench
The wrench is rated at a maximum torque of 450 N·m. Two sockets are supplied, covering four lug-nut sizes (17, 19, 21 and 23 mm). Choose the one that fits snugly, and hold the power button until the nut comes free. Impact wrenches are good at removing nuts quickly, but tightening to the torque figure in your owner's manual is usually done with a torque wrench.
Built-in tire inflator
An inflator pump is built into the unit, with a tire pressure display so you can watch the reading as you fill. The inflation tube and needles are kept in hidden compartments on both sides of the case, so the accessories stay with the jack.
Power and cable length
The kit runs from a 12V cigarette-lighter socket or directly from a car battery. The power cord is 13 feet (about 4 m) long, enough to reach a front or rear wheel from the socket or battery. Three spare fuses are included, and VEVOR says they are TUV and UL certified. The unit also has an LED light for work in poor light.
Size and weight
The case measures about 14.6 x 13.4 x 6.9 inches (37 x 34 x 17.5 cm) and weighs 18 lb (about 8.2 kg), so it can be stored in a boot or a garage shelf.
What to check before you buy
- Vehicle weight and lift points: confirm the lifting range suits your vehicle's clearance and that you know where the manual says to place the jack.
- Lug-nut size: check that one of the 17, 19, 21 or 23 mm sockets fits your wheels.
- Power source: make sure your 12V socket can supply the current the manual requires, or plan to connect to the battery.
- Support equipment: plan for jack stands and a torque wrench; they are not part of this kit.
- Surface: you need a flat, firm surface wherever you'll use it.
- Storage: check the manual on keeping the unit dry and charging or maintaining it between uses.
