The VEVOR ZG-I+ is a 6-ton pneumatic jack. Instead of pumping a handle, you feed it compressed air and a rubber airbag inflates to lift the vehicle. It is a garage and workshop tool for cars, SUVs and pickup trucks.
How an air jack works
A trolley-style air jack has a rolling frame and one or more airbags. When air enters through the inlet valve, the bag expands and raises a lifting pad. A valve lets you control the inflation speed, and releasing the air lowers the load. VEVOR says the jack lifts a vehicle in 2 to 5 seconds. It needs an air compressor, which is not included. The inlet valve is G1/4, so check that your hose fitting matches or use the right adapter.
Capacity: 6 tons (13,000 lb)
VEVOR rates the jack at 6 tons, or 13,000 lb, and says it suits family sedans, pickups, micro trucks and SUVs. That figure is a maximum for the jack, not for the vehicle's weight at one point, so compare it with your vehicle's weight and its jacking points in the manual.
Lifting height
The lift range is 10.2 to 26.5 in (260 to 673 mm) with the booster column in place. Without the heightened column, the minimum height is 6.7 in (170 mm), which VEVOR says helps vehicles with a low chassis. Use the extension column for taller vehicles and the lower setting for low ones.
Construction
A three-layer rubber airbag is designed for strong sealing and to reduce the risk of leaks. The top of the jack and the extension column have wide, thick rubber pads for grip and a bigger contact area. A telescopic steel tube inside the frame steadies the lift.
Handle and wheels
The handle adjusts to three angles, and nylon wheels let you roll the jack under the car with less bending. VEVOR says the wheels support heavy loads without cracking.
Size and weight
The jack weighs about 56.7 lb (25.7 kg). The listing's dimensions look like packaging measurements, so check the product's working size in the manual if it matters for your storage space.
Who it suits
It suits home mechanics and workshops that already have an air compressor and want quick lifts for tyre changes, brake work or inspections, and also owners of lower vehicles who need a low starting height.
What to check before you buy
- Compressor: confirm you have a compressor, a hose and a fitting that matches the G1/4 inlet, and check the pressure needed in the manual.
- Vehicle weight: compare it with the 6-ton capacity, and use only the lifting points the manufacturer states.
- Height: check that the 6.7 in and 10.2 to 26.5 in ranges suit your vehicle's ground clearance.
- Support: never work under a vehicle held only by a jack. Use rated jack stands on firm, level ground.
- Floor: use on a hard, flat surface.
- Care: inspect the airbag for cuts or wear before each use.
The short version
- A 6-ton (13,000 lb) pneumatic airbag jack for cars, SUVs and pickups.
- Lift range 10.2 to 26.5 in with the booster column; 6.7 in minimum without it.
- Needs an air compressor (G1/4 inlet); lifts in 2 to 5 seconds, per VEVOR.
- Three-layer rubber airbag, rubber pads, three-position handle and nylon wheels.
- Always support the vehicle on jack stands before working under it.
