The VEVOR 1T-H is a manual push beam trolley. It carries an electric hoist along an I-beam or H-beam, so the hoist can be repositioned by pushing the load sideways. VEVOR designed it for its PA200, PA250, PA300, PA400 and PA500 electric hoists.

What a beam trolley does

An electric hoist lifts a load up and down. A trolley adds travel along the beam. In a push trolley, you move the load by hand, and the dual wheels roll along the beam's lower flange. It is the simpler option compared with geared or motorized trolleys, and suits workshops where moves are short and occasional.

Capacity and construction

The trolley is rated at 1 ton (2,200 lb). VEVOR says the body, lifting ring and dual axle wheels are all made of alloy steel and describes them as corrosion-resistant. It weighs about 20.9 lb (9.5 kg) and measures roughly 13.8 x 7.7 x 6.3 inches (35 x 20 x 16 cm). The 1-ton limit must cover the hoist's own weight as well as the load, so check the system as a whole.

Adjustable beam width

The trolley adjusts to beam flange widths from 2.68 to 4.33 inches (68 to 110 mm). VEVOR includes 12 washers of 1.5 mm and 6 gaskets of 27 mm that are used to set the spacing. This is how the wheels are brought to fit snugly on the flange. VEVOR says it suits straight and curved I-beams, as well as H-beams.

Installation outline

VEVOR describes the steps as: measure the beam, fit the washers and gaskets to match, install the electric hoist, and lock it down with the nut and wire pin. Overhead lifting equipment depends on correct assembly, so follow the manual closely. Installation on a beam should be done by someone competent and the beam itself must be suitable for the load.

Compatibility

The listing names PA200, PA250, PA300, PA400 and PA500 electric hoists. If your hoist is a different make or model, compare its mounting arrangement with the trolley before assuming it will fit.

Where it is used

VEVOR points to factory floors, construction sites and warehouses. A home workshop with a suitable overhead beam is the same idea at a smaller scale.

Who it suits

It suits owners of a compatible PA-series hoist who need to move loads along a beam by hand, and people replacing a trolley on an existing beam setup.

What to check before you buy

  • Hoist model: confirm yours is in the PA200-PA500 list.
  • Flange width: measure the beam flange; it should fall between 2.68 and 4.33 inches.
  • Beam strength: the beam and its supports must be rated for the load plus the equipment.
  • Rated capacity: 1 ton includes the hoist, so check the combined weight.
  • Parts: confirm the washers, gaskets, nut and wire pin are in the box.
  • Upkeep: inspect wheels, pins and the lifting ring regularly, as the manual advises.
  • Safety: never lift people, and keep away from suspended loads.
