The Lockly Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub (PGH200) is an accessory for Lockly smart locks. Lockly locks connect to a phone over Bluetooth, which only works at close range. This small hub joins the lock to your home Wi-Fi so you can reach it from anywhere.

What a hub adds to a Bluetooth lock

A Bluetooth lock talks directly to a phone nearby. Away from home, the phone has no way to reach it. The hub sits in a power outlet inside your home, talks to the lock over Bluetooth and to your router over Wi-Fi, and so acts as a bridge. With it in place, the Lockly app can work from any place with an internet connection.

Remote control and notifications

Lockly says the hub lets you lock and unlock from the mobile app wherever you are. It also sends real-time notifications to your phone when the lock is opened or closed. That's useful for knowing when a family member arrives or whether a door was left unlocked. Remote unlocking is a convenience feature, so use strong phone and account security and follow the manual.

Voice control

The hub works with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can give voice commands for the lock. Voice assistants usually need an account link and, for unlocking, a spoken code or similar protection. Check the Lockly app for how this is set up.

Wireless door sensors

The package includes wireless door sensors. A lock tells you if the bolt is thrown, but not whether the door is actually shut. A door sensor reports the door's open or closed position, so you can tell the difference between a locked door and a door that is only pulled to. Lockly says the sensors give accurate information on whether the door is securely shut or still open.

Size and placement

The hub measures about 3.0 x 1.3 x 2.1 inches and weighs roughly 0.2 lb, so it is small enough to plug in near the door. Bluetooth range is limited, and walls and metal can reduce it, so the hub should be close enough to the lock to keep a reliable connection.

Who it suits

It suits owners of a compatible Lockly lock who want to check or control it away from home, receive alerts, or use voice commands. It is an accessory and does nothing without a Lockly lock.

What to check before you buy
