The Lemorele G500 is a wireless HDMI kit that sends video and audio from a laptop to a TV, projector or meeting-room display without a cable. A transmitter plugs into the source and a receiver plugs into the screen. Lemorele aims it at conference rooms, classrooms and presentations.

How it connects

Lemorele says the transmitter and receiver pair with each other directly using 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi modules, so they don't need your office or school network. That can help where guest Wi-Fi is restricted. Direct links are still affected by walls, interference and distance.

Range and video quality

Lemorele rates the link at 50 metres (about 165 ft) in a straight line, a distance it says suits university classrooms and large meetings. In practice, obstacles reduce that. Video is 1080P at 60Hz, which Lemorele says suits projectors, whiteboards and TVs up to 200 inches. Full HD at 60Hz is typically smooth for slides and documents, though it is not a 4K link.

Built-in battery and charging dock

Most HDMI transmitters need a separate power supply. Lemorele's has a 2,000mAh lithium-ion battery that it says gives 3.5 to 4 hours of use, so the transmitter can run cable-free. The storage box has two compartments for transmitters, charges them when docked in either orientation, and has protection against over-current, over-voltage and overload, with automatic stop when full. Four indicator lights show a full charge. Treat the run time as a guide, since a long meeting may need the transmitter docked or powered in between.

Multiple presenters

The G500 supports up to eight transmitters at once, with the receiver switching between sources when you press a button. This suits meetings where several people take turns presenting from their own laptops. Check how many transmitters are included in the version you buy.

Where it fits

It suits meeting rooms, classrooms, training sessions and events where people share screens. It's also handy at home for a laptop-to-TV link. Since it carries HDMI video, a source needs an HDMI output, or an adapter.

What to check before you buy

  • Source and display ports: confirm both have HDMI, and whether adapters are needed.
  • Distance and obstacles: test in the actual room, as walls reduce range.
  • Latency: wireless links add some delay, which matters for fast video or games.
  • Battery needs: compare the 3.5 to 4 hour battery with your longest meeting.
  • Protected content: some streaming apps restrict output, so check they will display.
  • Number of units: confirm how many transmitters you need for your group.

The short version

  • Wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver, model G500, with a charging storage box.
  • 1080P at 60Hz and a rated range of 50 metres in a straight line.
  • 2,000mAh transmitter battery for roughly 3.5 to 4 hours.
  • Direct 2.4G/5G link, no network needed; up to eight transmitters at once.
  • Best for meetings and classrooms rather than 4K or gaming.
