The WYBOT C1, model OS7010C, is a cordless robotic pool cleaner. It is designed to clean the pool floor, walls and waterline on its own, without a power cable trailing behind it and without a hose connected to your pool pump. You drop it into the water, choose a mode or schedule it in the app, and lift it out when it has finished.
Pump, brushes and filtration
WYBOT says the C1 has an upgraded independent water pump motor delivering up to 3,038 GPH of filtration flow. GPH, or gallons per hour, describes how much water the cleaner passes through its filter. The cleaner also has dual PVC brushes that WYBOT says grip surfaces well and loosen debris such as leaves, sand and dirt.
Floor, wall and waterline cleaning
The C1 is described as a 4-in-1 cleaner covering floor, walls and waterline. Its default program is designed to start with the walls and waterline and then move to a full floor clean. Several other cleaning modes are available, and WYBOT mentions four cleaning cycle options and smart runtime distribution through updates.
The waterline is where oils, pollen and scum tend to collect, so including it is useful if you do not want to scrub that band by hand.
Navigation and traction
Cleaners without a camera or mapping rely on sensors to decide where to go. WYBOT says the C1 uses a gyroscope-based system, following an N-shaped path along walls and an S-shaped path across the floor. In general, structured paths aim to cover the pool without too much repetition.
Four-wheel drive (4WD), upgraded motors and PVC traction brushes help the cleaner climb and hold on to different surfaces. WYBOT lists tile, vinyl, pebble, glass and mosaic.
Battery and runtime
The cleaner runs on a lithium battery. The brand states a runtime of 150 minutes and a charging time of about four hours. It is suited, according to WYBOT, to in-ground pools up to 1,614 square feet and a water depth of up to 9.8 feet. The listing title also mentions above-ground pools.
App control
The WYBOT app lets you schedule, monitor and customize cleaning sessions remotely. WYBOT also notes over-the-air (OTA) software updates, so new features can be added without a hardware change. You will need a phone and a wireless connection that reaches the pool area.
Size and weight
The item measures about 17 by 13 by 18 inches and weighs 23 lb. That is an object to lift out of the water, so think about how you will do this and where it will be stored.
What to check before you buy

- Wi-Fi or phone signal near the pool for app use.
- A spot to charge it for about four hours.
- Filter cleaning and brush upkeep, as described in the manual.
- Pool chemistry and usage guidance from the manufacturer.
