The VEVOR TY-B30 is a universal seat suspension base that sits between a machine's seat and its frame. It adds spring-based cushioning and a forward-and-back slider so that an operator on a mower, forklift or tractor feels less of the vibration and shock from the ground. It is a part, not a complete seat, so the seat you already have mounts on top of it.
What the suspension does
On rough ground, vibration passes straight up through the frame and into the operator's back. A suspension base absorbs part of it. VEVOR uses 65Mn high-strength spring steel with 45mm (about 2 inches) of shock absorption. A longer working day on uneven terrain is the situation these parts are made for, and VEVOR says it helps reduce back strain during long hours.
Weight range and adjustment
The kit is rated for operators weighing 50 to 130 kg (roughly 110 to 286 lb). An adjustable switch lets you set the suspension to your weight and conditions. Setting it correctly matters: a base set too soft will bottom out, and one set too stiff will pass on more of the bumps.
Slider track
The built-in track gives 150mm (6 inches) of forward and backward adjustment, so you can set the seat to suit your reach to the pedals and controls. A 50cm (19.7 inch) switch extension wire is included for flexible wiring.
Fitting different machines
The base has eight additional mounting holes. VEVOR says this lets the kit fit lawn mowers (it names zero-turn models), forklifts, tractors and bulldozers, and replace an old suspension system. Because it is universal, it will not be a bolt-on match for every machine. Compare the hole pattern, the space under your seat and the seat's own mounting with the kit's dimensions of about 19.3 x 16.5 x 5.9 inches.
Build
The base is made of 3mm (0.12 inch) heavy-duty steel with an electrostatic powder coating for corrosion resistance. A waterproof PVC dust cover protects the moving parts for outdoor work. The kit weighs 38.1 lb, which is a sign of how much steel is in it.
