The VEVOR Pop Up Sports Tent (model 121084) is a transparent dome shelter that unfolds in seconds. It is made for watching sports, fishing or camping in cool weather while still seeing everything around you. VEVOR sizes it for four to six people.
Pop-up design and size
The frame is reinforced steel wire that springs open when released, so there are no poles to thread. Set up is quick, and it folds flat again for the carry bag. The tent measures 72 x 72 x 76.8 inches (roughly 183 x 183 x 195 cm) and weighs 16.5 lb (about 7.5 kg). VEVOR calls it the largest model in its series. Folded sizes vary with technique, so check the manual for how to fold the frame.
Why it's clear
The transparent dome uses TPU plastic panels, which VEVOR says give 540° panoramic visibility. The idea is that spectators stay connected to the action while being sheltered from wind and rain. Clear shelters also let in a lot of daylight, and, in general, the greenhouse effect makes them warm inside in the sun. VEVOR states plainly that this tent is best for cool autumn and winter weather and not recommended for hot weather.
Windows and airflow
Two roll-up windows let you adjust airflow and privacy. Opening them also helps limit condensation, which is common in any sealed shelter with several people breathing inside.
Materials and weather protection
Alongside the TPU panels, VEVOR lists 300D Oxford fabric and a steel wire frame, and describes the materials as wear-resistant with UV shielding. Seams are heat-sealed and double-stitched, and the zippers are SBS-branded. VEVOR says this combination handles rain and wind. Waterproofing on shelters like this is about protection from rain rather than from a flood of water under the floor, so consider groundwater when choosing a pitch.
Care and wind limits
VEVOR's care notes are specific:
- Keep it away from sharp or abrasive objects during setup and use, as they can puncture or tear the TPU.
- It isn't designed to bear heavy snow loads. Let surface ice melt naturally rather than scraping or chipping it.
- In winds above Beaufort 4 (roughly 13-18 mph), fold it flat and keep it somewhere protected.
What's included
A removable floor mat and top cover, four glow-in-the-dark stakes, four wind ropes and a carry bag come with it. The reflective stakes are meant to improve visibility at night and to hold the shelter down in wind. VEVOR says the design is covered by a U.S. design patent application (No. US30006657).
Who it suits
It suits parents at weekend matches, anglers, and anyone who wants a bright, sheltered spot for cool-weather outings. It is less suited to hot days, exposed windy sites or long camping stays where a conventional tent would be more robust.
What to check before you buy
- Floor space: 72 x 72 inches is comfortable for a few people with chairs, but six would be a snug fit.
- Weather: check that you'll be using it in cooler conditions.
- Ground: the stakes need soil or grass; hard surfaces may need other weights.
- Storage: confirm the folded size fits your vehicle.
- Heat sources: follow the manual; never use open flames or fuel-burning heaters in a closed shelter.
