VEVOR 130 ft Retractable Hose Reel: features, specs and who it suits

The VEVOR 130 ft retractable hose reel is a wall-mounted reel with a 1/2 inch hose already fitted. Pull the hose out to where you need water, then let it wind back by itself. It is meant for gardeners who are tired of coiling a hose by hand and tripping over loose lengths.

Automatic, slow rewind

After a slight tug, the hose retracts on its own. VEVOR says it rewinds slowly on purpose, to avoid damage or injury from a fast snap-back. Behind this is a built-in steel coil spring that the brand says passed a tensile test more than 3,000 times.

The hose can also be locked at any length you choose, so you can stop at the exact distance you need rather than at fixed points.

Mounting and reach

A 180° metal bracket lets the reel swing for multi-directional watering. VEVOR supplies an installation kit for fixing it to brick, concrete, wood and stone. The reel can be taken off the wall and kept somewhere frost-free over winter, which is a sensible habit with any hose.

It suits owners of medium and large gardens who want a tidy permanent hose station. A small balcony or short yard may not need 130 ft of hose, and a shorter reel would be lighter and easier to mount.
