The Rhinowalk Y5110 is a 10-litre saddle bag that straps under a bike seat. It is designed for bikepacking, commuting and longer rides, where a small frame bag is not enough. Rhinowalk says it fits road, mountain and folding bikes.
Capacity and what 10 litres holds
Ten litres is a medium-sized seat pack. Typically that holds a spare tube, tyre levers, a multi-tool, a light jacket, a snack or two and a few personal items, with room left for a change of clothing on a short trip. Rhinowalk describes the bag as suited to medium and long-distance rides.
A cross of elastic cord on the outside lets you fix extra gear, such as a pump, damp clothes or a helmet, in the open rather than inside the bag.
Waterproof construction
The outer material is PVC polyester that Rhinowalk calls anti-slip and wear-resistant, and the brand says it also protects the seatpost from rubbing. The inner bag uses fabric listed at 3000mm water pressure. That is a hydrostatic head figure, meaning the height of a water column the fabric can hold before water seeps through. A figure of 3000mm is typically considered suitable for steady rain. There is also a waterproof rubber strip at the stitching, since seams are where water usually gets in.
Rhinowalk says the bag can withstand heavy rain. Keep in mind that zippers and roll-top closures differ in how watertight they are, so for electronics or paperwork a small dry bag inside gives extra protection.
Four-strap mounting
The bag fixes at four points with four straps. After tightening, you press the buckle to lock it more firmly, which Rhinowalk says reduces loosening from bumps. Four-point mounts usually hold a seat bag steadier than two-strap systems because they limit swinging and rubbing against the rider's legs.
Make sure there is clearance between the bag, the rear wheel and the saddle rails, especially on small frames, folding bikes and bikes with dropper posts or rear mudguards.
Visibility at night
The bag has a reflective strap and reflective logo, plus a hook for a tail light. The hook position keeps a light at the rear, where drivers are most likely to see it. Reflective details help but they do not replace proper front and rear lights where the law requires them.
Who it suits
It suits commuters who carry a layer and a repair kit, weekend riders on longer routes, and bikepackers who want a small rear pack. It also works for folding-bike owners who don't have a rear rack.
What to check before you buy
- Saddle and seatpost clearance: check the space below the seat and the distance to the rear tyre.
- Size and weight of gear: 10 litres is a limit, so list what you plan to carry.
- Light fit: confirm that your tail light clips to the hook.
- Closure: see how the bag closes and how well that holds up in rain.
- Mudguards and racks: make sure the bag doesn't foul them.
- Fit on your bike: the listing doesn't give the exact outer dimensions, so check them with the seller or the manual.
