The iScooter iX7 Pro is an adult electric scooter built around dual 1000W motors, 10-inch pneumatic off-road tyres and suspension at both ends. It is designed for commuting and longer rides, including rougher surfaces and hills. Here is what the main specs mean in practice.
Dual-drive motors and speed
iScooter says the scooter has dual-drive switching. In single-drive mode, speeds range from 12 to 31 mph, and in dual-drive mode it reaches up to 38 mph. Two motors typically add pull on steep hills and when starting from a stop, while single-drive mode is the gentler choice. The brand says it is certified to UL2272, a standard that covers the electrical system of e-mobility products. Top speeds apply in suitable conditions, and local laws often cap what is allowed on public roads and paths.
Battery and range
The battery is a CE-certified 48V-54.6V pack rated at 15.6Ah. iScooter quotes a range of 40 to 50 miles on a single charge. Real-world range usually depends on rider weight, speed, hills, temperature and tyre pressure, so fast riding tends to land toward the lower end. The brand advises fully charging before the first ride.
Tyres and suspension
The 10-inch off-road pneumatic tyres are air-filled, which typically grips better and absorbs more bumps than small solid wheels. A front swingarm and rear spring suspension add shock absorption. iScooter says this gives good grip over varied terrain.
Brakes and lighting
Braking uses front and rear disc brakes operated from the handlebars, plus what iScooter calls hidden power cut-off brakes. For visibility there is a headlight with reflectors, turn signals at the four corners of the deck, blue ambient side lights, and a tail light that flashes when braking.
App, size and load
The Minirobot app lets you monitor and customize your ride and includes a lock feature. The scooter is rated for riders up to 330 lb (150 kg). Listed dimensions are 46.8 x 9.8 x 22.4 inches (about 119 x 25 x 57 cm). iScooter describes a one-piece pre-installation design, so no assembly is needed on arrival, and gives a 360-day or 180-day warranty depending on the part.
Who it suits
It suits riders with a longer commute, hilly routes or rough paths who want more power than a typical small commuter scooter. It is a larger machine, so it is best for people with room to keep it and the strength to lift it where needed.
What to check before you buy
- Local rules: check where e-scooters are allowed, speed limits, age limits and any helmet requirement.
- Weight and carrying: check the scooter's weight against any stairs or lifts you need to manage.
- Space and charging: make sure you have a suitable place to keep and charge it, following the manual.
- Rider weight: the listed limit is 330 lb (150 kg).
- Protective gear: a helmet and suitable protective equipment are standard advice for any e-scooter.
- Upkeep: tyres, brake pads and suspension need regular checks, as the manual describes.
