The BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 is a compact portable power station with a 1,024Wh LiFePO4 battery and four AC outlets. BLUETTI designed it for camping, RV trips, remote work and as a backup for a home office or router during an outage. It weighs 25 lb (about 11 kg), which BLUETTI says is 30% lighter than the model it replaces.
Capacity and output
Watt-hours (Wh) measure stored energy; watts measure how much can be supplied at once. This unit stores 1,024Wh and delivers 1,800W of AC power, with 3,600W surge. BLUETTI also lists "2,700W Lifting Power", which in general terms lets a unit run some heating-type loads rated above its normal output by reducing the power they draw. The manual explains which devices qualify.
As a rough guide, a 60W laptop setup could run for well over ten hours, while a 1,000W appliance would run for about an hour. Real runtime is lower, since the inverter uses some energy itself.
Charging speed
BLUETTI quotes a full charge in 70 minutes using either 1,000W of solar input or 1,200W TurboBoost AC charging. Solar panels are sold separately, and results depend on the sun. An optional BLUETTI Charger 1 can charge from a vehicle, which BLUETTI says is six times faster than a standard car port.
Backup and noise
BLUETTI says the Elite 100 V2 switches over instantly when mains power fails, which helps keep a WiFi router or PC running. It also quotes running noise at about 30dB, which it compares to a library. Fans may still speed up under heavy loads.
Size and portability
The case measures 12.6 x 8.5 x 9.8 inches (about 32 x 22 x 25 cm), about 17 litres by BLUETTI's count, and has a hidden handle for one-handed carrying. BLUETTI describes it as 35% smaller than the previous generation.
Eleven ports
BLUETTI says the unit has 11 ports and can power up to 11 devices at once, covering AC outlets, USB and DC connections. Check the manual for the exact port mix.
Battery chemistry
LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) is generally chosen for long cycle life and thermal stability, which is why it is common in portable power.
Who it suits
It suits campers, van and RV travellers, remote workers, and households that want a small backup for essentials such as lights, a router and chargers.
What to check before you buy
- Your loads: add up running watts and any startup surge, and compare with the 1,800W limit.
- Runtime: divide usable watt-hours by the load for a rough estimate.
- Solar: check panel voltage and wattage against the input limits.
- Vehicle charging: the optional Charger 1 is a separate purchase.
- Home backup: connecting to household wiring is a job for a qualified electrician under local codes.
- In the box: AC charging cable, solar charging cable, grounding screw and manual.
