The BLUETTI AC200L is a large portable power station with a 2048Wh LiFePO4 battery, packaged here with a 350W PV350 foldable solar panel. It's designed for camping, RV use, home backup and emergencies. Here is what its listed numbers mean and how they affect what it can run.

Capacity and output

Capacity is 2048 watt-hours (Wh): roughly, a device that draws 100W could run for about 20 hours in ideal conditions, with some energy lost to conversion in practice. The AC200L has four AC outlets with 2400W output and what BLUETTI calls 3600W "Power Lifting". Power lifting is typically a mode that lets the unit run some resistive loads, such as heaters, that draw more than the rated output by reducing the delivered power. Check the manual for how it applies.

LiFePO4 battery

LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) is a battery chemistry commonly chosen for long cycle life and stable operation. The exact cycle count isn't given in the listing, so check BLUETTI's specifications.

Charging

  • Solar: BLUETTI says the PV350 panel can take the power station from 0-80% in 4.6-9.2 hours, depending on conditions. The unit accepts up to 1200W of solar input, which BLUETTI says can fill it in 1.7-2.2 hours with enough panels.
  • AC: up to 2400W of AC charging input, and BLUETTI says 0-80% takes 45 minutes.
  • Car: a car charging cable is included.

The PV350 panel ships separately, so it may arrive in a different delivery.

Ports

BLUETTI counts 11 ports: AC outlets, USB, a car port and a 100W USB-C PD port, plus a 30A RV port and a 48V/8A DC port. With the D40 voltage regulator, listed as an add-on, it can charge an RV's battery.

Expansion batteries

Capacity can be expanded with two B300 batteries (3072Wh each), two B210 (2150Wh each) or one B230 (2048Wh). This lets you start with one unit and add runtime later.

What's in the box

The AC200L, the PV350 solar panel (shipped separately), an AC/solar/car charging cable, an XT90-aviation cable and the user manual.

Size

The listing gives dimensions of 22.2 x 16.5 x 22.8 inches (about 56 x 42 x 58 cm). It's a substantial unit, so it suits a fixed spot at a campsite, in an RV or in the home more than carrying around.

Who it suits

It suits people who want to run larger appliances off-grid, power essentials during an outage, or supply an RV, and who want the option of adding batteries and solar later.

What to check before you buy

  • Your loads: add up the running watts and the startup surge of the devices you plan to power.
  • Runtime: divide the capacity by device wattage for a rough estimate.
  • Solar: check panel voltage and current limits and how much sun you typically get.
  • Space and handling: confirm where it will sit and how you'll move it.
  • Connections: check that your RV or appliances match the 30A and DC ports. Follow the manual, and for home connections use a qualified electrician.

The short version

  • 2048Wh LiFePO4 power station with four 2400W AC outlets.
  • 350W PV350 foldable solar panel, shipped separately.
  • Up to 2400W AC or 1200W solar input.
  • 11 ports including 30A RV and 48V/8A DC.
  • Expandable with B300, B210 or B230 batteries.
