The VEVOR YKF-8218T is a commercial countertop soft serve machine with two hoppers and three dispensers. It is built for dessert counters, cafes and beverage bars that serve cones, waffles and ice cream cakes through the day.
Output and speed
VEVOR rates the machine at 20 to 28 litres per hour, which it describes as 8 to 12 servings delivered continuously. A 2200W compressor-based system does the freezing. The first batch takes 13 to 17 minutes, according to the brand, and later batches take 3 to 5 minutes. That gap is typical of soft serve machines: the first cycle has to chill the whole mix, while later ones top up a cylinder that is already cold.
Two hoppers, three dispensers
Two 6 L hoppers feed three dispensers set up as "2+1" flavours: usually one flavour from each side plus a twist in the middle. This lets a seller offer two flavours and a mix of the two without a second machine.
Pre-cooling and agitation
- Pre-cooling: VEVOR says the system holds the mix at or below 53.6°F (12°C), so it stays fresh during overnight storage or in hot rooms. Whatever the machine's features, mix handling and storage should follow local food-safety rules and the manual.
- Hopper agitation: a built-in agitator mixes the hopper contents continuously. VEVOR says this prevents freezing and sediment buildup and supports a smooth, even texture without ice crystals.
Controls and cleaning
An LED display combines hardness adjustment, fresh-keeping, a timer, auto mode and one-touch self-cleaning. Hardness settings change how firm the product is when it leaves the nozzle, which is why they matter for cones versus cups. Self-cleaning cycles reduce hand work, but the manual will still list parts to remove and wash regularly.
Build
The machine is stainless steel, which VEVOR says resists rust and corrosion and is easy to clean. It weighs 183 lb (about 83 kg); the listing gives no dimensions, so check the manual or the supplier for the footprint.
What to check before you buy
- Confirm the dimensions before choosing a counter, and that the surface will carry 183 lb.
- Check the electrical supply. A 2200W unit needs a suitable dedicated circuit and plug, so confirm your voltage and follow local electrical codes.
- Leave airflow clearance around the compressor, as the manual describes.
- Ask what mixes the machine is designed for, and how much storage you will need for them.
- Plan daily cleaning, parts handling and sanitising.
- Look into local licensing and food-handling requirements for serving frozen desserts.
