The VEVOR XCW-100L is a compact refrigerated display case designed to sit on a counter. It lets cakes, pastries and other chilled items be seen by customers while they stay cold, and it takes up far less room than a full-size display fridge.
Size and capacity
The listing gives a capacity of 3.5 cubic feet (100 L) across two tiers, with outer dimensions of 26.9 in wide, 17.7 in deep and 26.6 in high (about 68 x 45 x 68 cm). It weighs 85.8 lb (about 39 kg). VEVOR says the compact footprint suits cash counters, windows or positions above display cabinets. Because of the weight, the surface underneath needs to be sturdy and level.
How the cooling works
VEVOR describes a 176 W "TURBO" cooling system that brings the interior to between 36 and 46°F (2 to 8°C). The cabinet is frost-free and air-cooled. In general, air-cooled (fan-assisted) cabinets move cold air around the compartment, which helps keep temperatures even from shelf to shelf and avoids the manual defrosting that a static-cooled model would need.
A digital temperature control lets the operator read and set the temperature for different foods, so a cream cake and a tray of sandwiches can be held at suitable settings.
Insulation and glass
The brand lists EPS insulation, thickened glass and a 4 mm aluminium hollow spacer. EPS is expanded polystyrene, a lightweight insulating foam, and a hollow spacer between glass panes is a standard way to limit heat transfer at the edges of double-glazed units. VEVOR says this combination keeps temperatures steady with lower energy use.
Display features
- LED lighting: lights the contents so they are easy to see.
- Two adjustable shelves: let you set the spacing for tall or flat items.
- Rear sliding door: the operator reaches the products from the back, which keeps the customer-facing glass clear.
- Condensation handling: a base with a high-pressure pipe evaporates condensation, so no drain line is needed, according to VEVOR.
Certification
VEVOR says the case carries ETL and DOE certification. ETL is a mark showing a product was tested to recognised safety standards, and DOE refers to US Department of Energy efficiency rules for commercial refrigeration. Confirm what applies in your region, and follow local codes and the manual for installation.
What to check before you buy
- Measure the counter space and make sure the surface can hold about 86 lb.
- Leave clearance around the unit for airflow, as set out in the manual.
- Check the power supply requirements and plug type for your location.
- Make sure the 100 L capacity and two shelves suit your trays and packaging.
- Confirm local rules about commercial food storage and temperature.
- Plan for cleaning: glass and shelves need regular wiping, and the manual will explain how.
