The VEVOR HC-2500Y is a high-speed electric grinder for dry ingredients. It has a stainless steel body, a 2500g capacity and a 3400W motor, and it is designed to pulverise grains, spices, coffee beans and similar dry foods into fine powder. VEVOR describes it as suitable for homes and kitchens as well as commercial use.

Swing-type design

Many grinders stand upright and have to be lifted to pour out. This one is a swing type: VEVOR says the body can be tilted through 270° to pour, and that swinging it during grinding gives a more even, finer powder. If the result is too coarse, the brand suggests sieving out the larger pieces and grinding them again.

Power, speed and blades

VEVOR rates the motor at 3400W and 32,000 revolutions per minute, with a grind range of 30 to 300 mesh. Mesh is a measure of particle size: a higher number means a finer powder. A three-layer blade combines a crushing blade, a horn blade and a powder-removal blade, and VEVOR says dehydrated foods can be ground to fine powder in around 30 seconds. A display shows and sets the time.

At this power, the unit is built for short bursts. VEVOR lists a 5-minute operation time followed by a 10-minute interval, and the usage tips say to rest the machine for 5 to 10 minutes after every 5 minutes of running.

What it can grind

The listing names grains such as soy, corn, barley, wheat, oats, rye and peas, along with coffee beans and spices such as fennel, pepper, cinnamon and rosemary. VEVOR is clear that it is not suitable for wet, fresh, oily or sticky materials. Materials need to be properly dry.

Safety and build

The grinding jar is food-grade stainless steel. A buckle structure seals the lid, and VEVOR says the machine only starts when the lid is fully fastened and stops automatically when it is opened. An overload protector is also listed, which typically cuts power if the motor is working too hard. Follow the manual on safe use.

Filling and cleaning

The tips advise covering the long blade with material but filling no more than two-thirds of the jar, with about half being best. VEVOR also says not to rinse the grinding tank with water, and to clean it with a dry cloth or brush.

Size

The listing gives roughly 9.4 by 9.1 by 15.4 inches and a weight of 15.9 lb. It is a compact countertop size but heavy for its footprint, so plan where it will sit.

Who it suits

It suits bakers who mill their own flour, cooks who grind whole spices in volume, or small kitchens that process dry ingredients in batches. It is less suited to oily nuts or moist pastes.

What to check before you buy

  • Your ingredients: confirm they are dry and not oily or sticky.
  • Power: 3400W is a very large load, so check the outlet and circuit limits where you'll use it.
  • Run time: are short cycles with rest breaks workable for your batch sizes?
  • Noise: high-speed grinders are loud; ask whether that suits your space.
  • Fineness: decide the powder grade you need against the 30-300 mesh range.
  • Cleaning: a dry-cleaning-only jar means brushing out residue.

The short version

  • 3400W motor at 32,000 rpm, 2500g capacity, 30-300 mesh.
  • Swing design tilts 270° for pouring.
  • Food-grade stainless steel with lid interlock and overload protection.
  • For dry grains, spices and coffee, not wet or oily items.
  • Rest 5-10 minutes after every 5 minutes of use.
